Wow, that was pretty heartless, man. What, did your mom put tin foil on her nipples when she was breast feeding you? Sheesh.
Oh Geez, fine. Let the mediocre author RIP. My condolences go out to his family. You know, Sister Bear, and Brother Bear, and even Momma Bear. We happy now?
Perhaps you can enlighten us -- what have you or anyone in your family ever done? You can't count your lawn full of yard-art in front of your trailer home, either! A guy died here, so be respectful.
That's too bad. I used to read their books to my daughters when they were little. It was great the way they could teach a lesson without being overly preachy. My all time favorite one though is The Berenstain B Book Big brown bear, blue bull, beautiful baboon blowing bubbles biking backwards, bump brown bug's banana boxes and Billy Bunny's breadbasket and Brother Bob's baseball bus and Buster Beagle's banjo-bagpipe-bugle band... and that's what broke Baby Bird's balloon. Good Times.
Ah, too bad. Way back when I was learning to read, I read a lot of those. My parents still have them in the basement to give to my kids...
Grow up, people. The author contributed to the world in his own way. If you got some meaning out it, that's great. If not, them's the breaks.
Is disrespecting the dead 'in' or something? This is even worse than what I saw in the Pat Morita thread.
I loved the Berenstain Bears! I even had like, little dolls of them and I'd play house with them or something. My favorite book was the one where Sister Bear and Brother Bear had a clubhouse fight. RIP Mr. Berenstain!
I didn't know that there were toys, but I do remember seeing the movie, which was actually pretty good, as I recall and there's now a TV show.
You know...I think that is just the worst thing you can say. I liked the story books, i mean even now and i fully intend to read them to any children I have. I am gonna miss the guy.
I remember reading those books when I was younger. Even then,I thought the concept of having your family relationship title as your name (Sister Bear,Brother Bear) wierd. What happens when they grow up and have families of their own?
