Fair point Vigo Shadow Trooper, though at this point I don't know if it will be possible to verify anyone's death. The troops have been searching the station for an hour, and have found no trace of Arok. A Blind Prophet has vanished and nobody has heard from him since they landed. And the longer we stay the more we risk having our cover blown. If we leave the place intact it is even more likely they will both survive and escape. After thinking about it I concur with Otsisa, our best hope of not only frying those two, but destroying the evidence, will be blowing the station. Otsisa will remain docked for a while longer, but if Bookman doesn't show soon... our only hope will be the possibility they die in the explosion.
But I am open to suggestions.

There was only one problem with Bookman's assumption that it was a servant he was yelling at, it didn't make any sense for servants to be with him. As it turned out when Arok turned the corner there were three guards with him. Makes me glad I wasn't standing there in the middle of the path like an idiot. Indeed, he had hidden behind some pipes in the shadows and was lining up his shot on the first of the guards. Tyli'it was doing the same across the way, so that would mean one guard left and a giant slug. An angry and frightened giant slug if the way Arok was moving was any indicator.

Taking the shot, the guard on Arok's left suddenly collapsed with a hole in his helmet with a loud crack filling the air. Red blasts from Tyli'it's blaster spat out at the guard on the right, and while he was falling Bookman lined up a shot and pulled the trigger twice... resulting in two loud cracks and a pair of holes in the third guard's chest and back. Waiting until everything had quieted down, i.e. the echoes from his slugthrower were gone, Bookman stepped out into the light. "Hi Arok. Good to see you again." Before the giant slug could say a world Bookman pulled the trigger twice, and a pair holes appeared in Arok's face. What could only be blood oozed from the holes, and Arok sagged down onto the ground, very dead.

Tyli'it threw his hands up and let out a yell of triumph. Bookman went over and put a hand on the Twi'lek's back... and took the other man's blaster. "Master?" Tyli'it asked confusedly.

"I'm sure you want to shoot him too. Here, use this gun, it'll leave a bit more of a mark." He handed Tyli'it the other slugthrower, the one with the explosive rounds. "After everything you've been through with him it'll do you some good." Bookman gave an encouraging smile, hoping he wouldn't have to pull a gun on the Twi'lek.

Cautiously taking the slugthrower, Tyli'it hefted it, getting familiar with the weight of the gun. Walking up slowly, having to step around one of the guard's bodies, Tyli'it had a vicious look on his face. It was very out of place on the Twi'lek, or on any member of the species that he had ever seen. I'm glad he's about to be dead. The bullets in that particular gun had the punch of a grenade, and pulling the trigger from point blank range was absolutely suicide. Not that he was going to let Tyli'it know about that at all.

Backing up behind the pipes again and covering his ears, Bookman started counting and when he reached seven there was a massive crackoom sound. Hoping that whatever resulted from the explosion, the force of the blast buffeting him, wouldn't make the slugthrower go off again, he waited a couple of more seconds. Poking his head cautiously around the corner, he was met with a scene of carnage, body parts of the guards were scattered along with bits of Hutt and Twi'lek. "It was nice knowing you Tyli'it. You served your purpose well." He'd gotten what he wanted, a scene that it obviously wasn't him who had done the killing... while at the same time ha had gotten to take out the bastard Hutt. A win win, and he couldn't really be blamed for it.

Walking over towards Tyli'it while carefully avoiding any of the gunk on the ground, Bookman sought to retrieve his gun. After all, Tyli'it had taken it out of his holster since he would never use that particular ammo type in such an enclosed space. It was suicide after all.

While hunting he flipped on the comm that he'd been given for the first time. "This is Bookman, Arok has been... dealt with. Rather permanently. I'm afraid Tyli'it seems to have lost control of himself. Not to mention a few limbs." He considered not giving his coordinates and just leaving, but there was no guarantee that he would be able to escape in a ship he knew nothing about and would be flying unfriendly colors so far as his current "friends" were concerned. "i'm in..." and he gave the location to Otsisa, hoping neither one of them would end up regretting it. Ah, there it is. Bending down Bookman picked up the slugthrower carefully, as it was covered in carbon and biological gunk. Pulling out a handkerchief he began wiping it down, while moving back down the hall again where he would have much better position to handle the situation should it turn unfriendly. "I'd appreciate it if you only brought yourself Otsisa, I get the feeling we need to... discuss a thing or two."

Just like every other day, Vigo Scholomancer made a visit to the Bright Jewel Casino. As he entered the massive building, the security guards knodded in his direction. Instead of choosing one of the tables in the main hall, he made his way to a more private section of the casino. Only a small group of people was permitted into those quarters. After handing over all possessions, except for forms of payment, the doors in front of Scholomancer opened up. The hallway leading to the next room consisted of scanners searching his body for hidden objects. Since the scanners didn't detect anything suspicous, the Black Sun Vigo was allowed to move on. Then, the Twi'lek hostess appeared, informing him of the options available. She told Scholomancer an infamous gambler called Mosep Binneed awaited other players at the Sabacc table. 'Mosep Binneed', Scholomancer thought, 'don't I know that name from somewhere?'. Then, he remembered, the Nimbanel gambler served one of the high-ranking members of the Desilijic clan. Of course, Scholomancer wouldn't pass an opportunity to discredit a fellow gangster. Gladly, he accepted Binneed's invitation. Yet, before he could meet the Nimbanel, the Twi'lek hostess demanded information about his financial situation. After all, a gangster like Binneed didn't play for a couple of credits. When players like Binneed were involved, the casino didn't want to risk the other players couldn't pay their losses. Vigo Scholomancer hesitated for a second. Although nobody knew about it, he almost had no money left. Even his second-in-command Jula Vez wasn't aware how bad circumstances were for him. However, a game like this could improve his financial situation a lot. Overconfident that he would win, Scholomancer informed the Twi'lek hostess that he possessed information about one of the Desilijic's main enemies. If he would loose, he promised to hand over Aruk the Hutt's location to the Nimbanel. Not too long after, the game started and it didn't take long before Scholomancer ran out of luck...

Otsisa didn't like this, she didn't like this one bit. Sure the security controls were down but she was still very vulnerable. A large Bandage was wrapped around the burnt lekku, it was a crude treatment, but provided nothing unfortunate occurred it would hold together until she could get to a more efficient medical facility. Yet she stilled felt weak, the worst of the pain had numbed, but any sudden movement would reignite it tenfold.
Something was wrong, she just new it. If Bookman was still on their side he would have reported back to the ship with ease, if he had betrayed them he could have escaped with little risk on his part. Why contact her like this?

Otsisa rounded a corner, following the coordinates the human had sent, and just then her comm unite went off. "We got the charges set boss, what now?" She gave a signal to the Six men behind her and they grinded to a halt. "Fall back to the ship, set the timer for twenty minutes, if you don't hear from us by then, hightail it out of here." "Copy that"

They were close now, on the Fortieth floor of the station. The corridor they had enter was a dead end, no doors, windows or anything, just as the instructions had said. Otsisa raised her hand once more, signaling the Mando's to maintain position. "Go no farther, the rest of this journey is for me alone. Only follow if you hear blaster fire, or anything that sounds like a fight, alright?" "Yes sir, but are you sure?" She nodded, and patted the holdout blaster at her waste. "I can handle myself."

Turning to face the wall she felt her apprehension rise. Normally yes she could more than handle herself, but as things were now, with her head wound, and on uncharted terrain... no, the mission came first, and if she had to sacrifice herself for it, then it made no difference.
Sliding her hand over the smooth durasteel platting she soon found the loose tile. Quickly she tore two or three small squares in the wall, and walked through.

The hallways was long, narrow and dark. She squeezed herself along it until she came to its end. A dim light was seen, and a vile stench smelt as she entered a far wider chamber. "Bookman? Bookman are you there? Its Lieutenant Frerwalka just as you asked!"

It had been a bit longer wait than he'd have liked, given the stench and all, but sometimes there was nothing one could do. Other than leave, but he had already reviewed and discarded that as an idea. Leaving with the group he'd come in with was the only sure way of getting off and not getting blown up. And so when Otsisa Frerwalka finally came to the area littered with body parts Bookman found himself breathing a sigh of relief. They hadn't just left him, which was another possibility.

Calling out to her, "That's far enough. I don't particularly feel like getting shot." He had figured out long ago that that had been the plan for him, just as it had been his... well sort of his plan for dealing with Tyli'it. That had been a bit messier than he'd anticipated. "As you can see, Arok is dead. I've upheld my end of the bargain. I'd like to think that Black Sun was good for their end as well." Clearing his throat and spitting, he continued. "I've even provided a nice, neat way of tying this up for the other Hutts. That wasn't part of the deal, but it seemed somewhat prudent."

Otsisa's eye's soon adjusted to the graphic scene before her. The Chamber was small, circular, with a fancy couch in one corner, and an elaborate tarp with the Besadii family crest hanging over it. It must have been a waiting room of sorts for those seeking a meeting with the leader of the clan. But none of the décor could match the grizzly scene in the middle of the room. For the life of her she couldn't even be sure that thing was a Hutt! And the charred corps beside it... well that could only have been the Twi'lek that had accompanies Bookman into the facility. She and killed many beings in the last few years, but this....

She gagged in revulsion at the image that she knew would be burned in her mind for a long while. Eventually she just shook her head and returned her focus to Bookman. The man had found a scapegoat, that was certainly worth something she had to admit. This complicated the situation somewhat, they no longer needed someone to pin the murder on... but Bookman was still a witness, a loose end. She could tell the man was suspicious, and she was in no condition for a lengthy fight, but perhaps cutting a loose end did not always mean leaving a trail of dead bodies behind her.

"You did well Bookman, perhaps the Black Sun might have a place for you in our ranks... I'll have to go over it with the council, but we can't exactly let a witness wander the galaxy unchecked. And at this point I think you are far more valuable to us alive. What do you say?" She didn't want it to sound like a threat, but it was in anything but a friendly tone.
Otsisa put her hand forth to shake his.
A symbol that if accepted, his life was no longer his own.
But belonged to the Black Sun.

Eyeing the proffered hand as a poisonous appendage, he considered his options. Become effectively a slave to an even bigger and more dangerous organization, or death. It didn't seem terribly probable that he could fight his way out of here, and even if he succeeded what would he do then? Be constantly looking over his shoulder for assassins? That was a wonderful way to live. Sighing softly, Bookman carefully walked into the room. It really was a sight he'd rather not have to see again, but there did need to be evidence.

Breaking out his datapad, Bookman began recording the setting and narrating over it his revised version of events. About how Tyli'it had gone crazy and stolen his slugthrower, and blowing both himself and Arok up in the process. And everyone else that hadn't dove out of the way as well. He had completely ignored the handshake, as he was under no delusions as to what his position was going to be. One didn't shake hands with an underling, so he hadn't forced her to follow through on the gesture. She'd clearly been uncomfortable doing it in the first place.

After fiddling with his datapad for a few moments, having completely ignored the Twi'lek woman until this point, Bookman popped out a datachip and handed it to her. "Here. This will make convincing the Hutts much easier than no evidence but some random person's word. Or even just mine." Closing his eyes for a moment, he grimaced. "So much for the idea of freedom again. Guess I should have had a better bodyguard."

After an awkward few moments Otsisa lowered her hand. The Man seemed less than thrilled by her offer. And who could blame him? She basically admitted his options were either this or death. But she did her best to sooth his fears.

"You made a wise choice Bookman, but don't worry, I'm sure you will find us far more reasonable than Arok."

Otsisa gave a small smile. All things considered things could have been worse.
And it seemed to her Bookman had proven himself true to his word if nothing else. Perhaps her suspicions were unfounded.
He had upheld his end of the bargain.
And this was a fair compromise.
A way to avoid more pointless bloodshed.
And now it was out of her hands.

The Sabacc game hadn't ended very well for Vigo Scholomancer. Not only did he loose all his credits, he also was forced to give up information on Aruk's location. As he transferred the money and the information to the Nimbanel's datapad, Mosep Binneed's beeper suddenly started flashing. The Nimbanel apologized to Scholomancer before withdrawing himself to another room. Waiting for Binneed to return, Scholomancer ordered a bottle of Corellian brandy. When the Twi'lek hostess returned with the ordered drinks, the Black Sun Vigo filled his glass and immediately began drinking. Not too long after, the Nimbanel re-entered the gambling area with a smile on his face.

Binneed: I see you already poured yourself a glass of brandy. So, you must have heard the news? Arok the Hutt is finally dead.

    Scholomancer: If you say so...

Binneed: Arok's death will only be the beginning. My bosses have had a plan in place for years. They will not tolerate the Besadii regaining their strenght. No, Arok's death shall coincide with the destruction of the Besadii clan. The information you gave me, will help my bosses achieve that goal.

Scholomancer: Why are you telling me this?

Binneed: Because I know you cannot tell someone else. Otherwise, the Vigo Council would find out about you giving away valuable information. I can tell you all I want and you won't be able to do a thing...

As the Nimbanel said those last words, Vigo Scholomancer couldn't control himself any longer. He lifted his hand and threw his glass at Binneed. Then, he jumped from his chair, running in the Nimbanel's direction. However, before he could reach Binneed, security guards appeared, escorting him out of the building. The guards at the door advised the Black Sun Vigo not to come back any time soon.

With Arok the Hutt slain by the efforts of ConservativeJedi321 and A Blind Prophet, Shadow Trooper dispatched his agent Captain Malis to Nal Hutta to renegotiate an alliance with the Besadii.
"Well Captain Malis. It seems your masters have fulfilled their part of the bargain." Aruk rumbled. "Now that I have assumed command of my clan, we shall return to our previous arrangement."
"I'm afraid that is no longer possible." the Duros operative responded. "We know about Ylesia, you see. As long as you control such a lucrative spice mine, there is nothing stopping you from following your predecessor's attempt at muscling us out of the market."
"I don't know what you are talking about..." Aruk said, feigning ignorance. "To my knowledge, no such mine exists."
"Well if there is no mine there, than surely you would not object to giving us the moon than?"
"Enough with the charade, father. They know!" Durga roared. "If you have truly seen the spice mine, than you know that this alliance with Black Sun is not necessary at all. We only made an offer of allegiance, on the condition that we maintain control of all of our current operations. If your masters think I will surrender control of my empire after struggling so hard to win it, than they are fools. Ylesia will remain fully under us"
"Your father's empire you mean?' The Duros responded. "Is he not the clan leader?. Under your traditions the choice should be his."
"I must defer to my son on this. We can not concede Ylesia." Aruk said.
"This is not prudent." The Black Sun captain sniffed. "How soon you forget, who placed you on this dais. Still if this is your decision, I can not stop you. But my masters would be very displeased at all of us if I were to report this negotiation a failure. As Arok learned to his sorrow, my masters' displeasure is an occurrence which is best avoided, if one hopes for a long and prosperous life. For everyone's sake, I will give you some time to reconsider this decision before I inform them."
After his message was delivered to the Hutt, Captain Malis returned to his quarters in the palace and contacted the Vigo council. Despite what he told the Hutts, he was actually in constant contact with the Vigos for the entire meeting. "Vigos. Darth Rozic came through with the information on Ylesia. We caught Durga completely by surprise with this knowledge. While his son is ambitious, Aruk himself is a weak being. It won't be long before he concedes everything to us. Malis out."

<< Message from Advisor Immodet to the Vigo Council. >>

The criminal underworld is undergoing a big change, my friends. Although Arok the Hutt ruled over the Besadii clan for centuries, it didn't take long for his empire to crumble. Many criminal organizations, most notably the Desilijic clan, are trying to fill the power vacuum left behind after Arok's death. Since Black Sun mainly has a presence outside of Hutt space, we can just sit and watch. I totally agree with Captain Malis. If Durga and his father want to keep their power, they have no other choice but work together with us. Not only do we know about the Ylesia mine, the Desilijic are gaining more and more ground. Keep the Vigo Council informed of the situation, Vigo Shadow Trooper.

Vigo ConservativeJedi321, I think your operative made the right choice by letting Bookman live. Surely, A Blind Prophet possesses information about the other Hutt clans. Probably, Arok didn't even share his intelligence with Durga or Aruk, so that makes Bookman's information even more valuable. Tell him we will be paying for his services. If he serves us well, he might eventually end up fulfilling an important position within Black Sun. Where does he plan to relocate? Perhaps, we can help him by providing him with some options. A list of location where the Hutts don't have much influence.

Captain Malis was right in his predictions about the Besadii's internal politics. While Durga did not want to sign over the Ylesia mines, Aruk was far more realistic about the situation. While the Besadii still looked like the mightiest of the Hutt clans to an outside observer, the clan was rife with internal division following Black Sun's messy intervention in Besadii rulership. It was not long before Aruk announced that he would agree to the terms. Before he would sign the treaty though, he insisted on hosting a grand celebration for reaffirming the alliance between Besadii and Black Sun. Upon hearing of this celebration, Xizor demanded to Vigo Shadow Trooper that he be assigned as a further emissary to the Hutt. He insisted that the operative who oversees such an important deal for the syndicate should be some one of much higher rank than a simple starship captain. While reluctant to allow Xizor to attend, Shadow Trooper could think of no plausible reason that would not further sour relations between himself and the up jumped Falleen kingpin. Xizor was after all the emissary to the Emperor, so he would be the natural choice for such a mission. The Corellian consented to the request, but with some reservations. He also sent private orders to his people on Nal Hutta to keep Xizor under continuous surveillance for the duration of his time among the Besadii.

Wravachar had been waiting days for the team to arrive, in the meantime he had tinkered somewhat with the facilities security system. It would be more than efficient for detecting any intruders in the near future.
He had been sent here by Vigo Conservative Jedi to greet Otsisa and her team after their successful assassination of Arok. He had heard it was quiet the gruesome affair, and was very happy he was not apart of that mess.

They had been ordered to relocated here to offload the wounded, and plan for what to do next.
Wravachar was looking forward to seeing his friend again, though he would never admit it.

Now the Shuttle carrying them had just entered the system and the large Wookiee sped his way to meet it In the hanger bay. Two figures were visible in the cockpit, though they were too vague for him to tell. Smoke was released from the ships exhaust vents as the landing gear clunked to the ground. It wasn't pretty, but it was effective. It seemed to him that in recent years artistic wonders had been replaced by broken down clunkers, that smooth and bright was replaced by rusted and brown. The age of beauty was past, it was obvious enough. What else could be expected, after three arduous years of war, and the ramped militarization that followed. The Black Sun itself had never been one for style, but even their starships, it seemed to him, had fallen into an unusual state of disrepair.

Finally the boarding ramp tapped the ground, and the door opened. Down came the pink Twi'lek that he had know so well for the last few years. Before she even set foot on the deck Wravachar picked her up in his large brownish red arms and gave her a hug. She grunted in pain, but didn't immediately tell him to stop. "Hey big guy, good to see you too." Finally he let her down and growled a hardly welcome. It was then he noticed the other occupant, the human. "He calls himself Bookman." Otsisa whispered. "He will be helping the Black Sun until further notice. "Give him our upmost hospitality. Wravachar understood, and extended to the human the same courtesy he had given to Otsisa, with a large hug. He could hear Otsisa laughing in the background at Bookmans surprise. "Don't worry that is just the Wookiees way of welcoming you into the family. A moment later he dropped the man to the ground and turned back to Otsisa. Speaking in his native Shyriiwook he informed her that a bacta tank was ready for her, in the room next to Ut-Reb. She smiled and nodded her head. "Thank your Wravachar, tell them no painkillers though, I've been trying to get off the stuff since Kessel." He nodded with understanding.

And as Otsisa left them to attend to her own business, Wravachar turned to the Bookman, ready to get on to business. He wasn't sure if the man could understand him, so first he started off slow, asking if he was well, and if he had put any thought into where he might want to set up his operation.

It was an amazingly quiet flight on his end. There had been such high hopes, but given that he was dealing with an organization that broke the law thousands of times a day, why backing out of a single deal with him wasn't much of a hiccup in their machine. It shouldn't have surprised him, but Bookman had hoped that maybe there might be some shred of honor left in the underworld. The real question was why he'd thought that at all, considering what he'd just been through for the last decade. Otsisa had attempted to make the trip palatable, and tried to convince him that things really were looking up for him, but going from one slave master to what seemed to be another isn't the sort of thing that most beings can get past. At least he wasn't in a slave color or anything, that had been a fun phase with Arok.

After they landed, the two of them sat in the cockpit for a moment before Otsisa rose with a wince. "Things will be better. Come on, there's some people you need to meet." Figuring he didn't have much choice in the matter he stood and followed her. The last thing he'd expected to was the wookiee and his rather effusive greeting for the twi'lek woman.

Standing there, slightly nonplussed by the whole display, Bookman was about to start walking into the facility when the wookiee, who was drastically taller than he was, lifted him up in a hug. A surprised squeak escaped him. With his eyes wide, he heard Otsisa tell him that it was simply his way of welcoming new people to the "family". With a jarring drop he wound up on his feet again. "Well... it was certainly surprising... Thank you." Watching the wookiee out of the corner of his eye, he looked around at his surroundings. It was pretty much the standard fair, given that he was on an asteroid. Rocks here, rocks there, air bubbles everywhere.

He heard the wookiee mention that there was a bacta tank waiting for Otsisa, and he was rather thankful that he didn't require something of that nature, and then he got the name of the hairy tower. Wravachar. Bookman tasted the name mentally. Of course, he was fluent shyriiwook, he simply couldn't actually speak the language that was full of flutings, honkings and growls. It was far too guttural for his taste, and he certainly lacked the teeth to make it work. Among other notable physiological differences.

And then he was alone with the wookiee, and he was being asked some questions. A certain measure of amusement settled over him, it was simply assumed that he would be able to communicate with the Wravachar. He was sorely tempted to feign ignorance, but to what end? And one of the questions caught his interest. Where do I want to be indeed. It was something he hadn't even considered, as it hadn't seemed terribly probable that he would be given any autonomy whatsoever, after all a slave was told what to do and they did it. Maybe... this won't be so bad. But it still felt choking. Like he was stuck in a hole filling with water, and someone had just shoved a grate over the top to insure that there was nothing to come for him. Simple question first. "I'm as well as can be expected, given the horror that was my life with Arok. And..." He shuddered slightly, remembering the stench and sheer overwhelming macabre nature of Arok's ultimate demise. "And..." He stared into the middle distance, through Wravachar, as he was mentally stuck back in that place. Having to watch where he walked to avoid the chunks of slug, twi'lek and other beings that he hadn't even paid attention to at the time. It was too late to try and figure out, given that there hadn't been a single one of them left intact. The armor that they'd had on hadn't made it any easier.

Looking down at his clothing, he realized that he actually hadn't changed. There were bits of... things stuck and dried on both him and his garments. Turning to the side, Bookman promptly threw up. Spitting, he started to wipe his mouth and stopped. There wasn't a place that was clean enough for him to actually do so. "And I believe I could use a change of clothes." Without further ado he started stripping off the shirt, shoes and pants, preferring the cold and embarrassment to remaining in those gore speckled things a moment longer.

    Nal Hutta

After attending a meeting with the Hutt Council, Mosep Binneed disappeared into one of Nal Hutta's many dark alleys. After shaking off his pursuers, he entered an old factory building. Inside, he was greeted by several operatives of the Desilijic clan. For the past couple of days, the compound had served as their main base of operations. Although Binneed originally planned on striking much earlier, he couldn't resist postponing the operation untill Aruk's celebration feast. Lashing out on such a symbolic occurence would only speed up the downfall of the Besadii clan. Looking at what would happen in the nearby future, Binneed was quite proud of himself. After all, who else could take credit for masterminding the destruction of a major Hutt clan? First, he acquired information about his enemies by blackmailing their allies. Now, thanks to Vigo Scholomancer, the Desilijic possessed the same information about Aruk the Hutt as Black Sun. Second, he started creating several distractions in order to cover up the main operation. As Binneed realized nobody had any idea what was about to go down, a smile appeared on his face. This would be his celebration, not Aruk's.

Mosep Binneed quickly dismissed his thoughts of victory as someone was dragged into the room. After Binneed knodded his head, the Desilijic mercenaries let go of their blue-skinned prisoner. The Nimbanel recognized the guy as a member of the Jilruan Flecheteers, a group often hired by Hutt crime lords.
Jilruan Flecheteer: Ah, Master Binneed, I am so happy to see you...
Binneed: Why would you be happy to see me, tell me? I don't quite understand.
Jilruan Flecheteer: I am happy to see you because you are a man of reason. Surely, you understand I can still provide further services to our masters.
Binneed: What kind of services do you mean? Services like assassination, maybe? Well, last time I checked, you didn't complete your assignment and afterwards decided to run off.
Jilruan Flechteer: No, master Binneed, I didn't run off. I just was afraid of what you might do if you found out. Found out that someone else succeeded at getting rid of Arok the Hutt.
Binneed: What did you expect me to do? This?
Then, suddenly, Binneed pulled a gun out of his vest and shot the Jilruan Flecheteer three times in the chest. Another loose end tied up, the Nimbanel thought as he put away his gun. The same bodyguards, who had accompanied the Jilruan Flecheteer into the room, helped drag the lifeless body out of the chamber.

Aruk took a long time dying. Thanks to the Black Sun intel, the Desjillac were able to infiltrate Ylesia and poison the Besadii chief. Aruk's dying was not apparent at first, he seemed less mentally sharp and more willing to compromise than before, but this could be explained by the Besadii's current precarious predicament. It was only after the Besadii's renewed alliance with Black Sun, that the true gravity of Aruk's illness became apparent. As Aruk was in his final hours, he called Durga to his audience chamber for some last words of advice. "My son, our empire belongs to you now." The old Hutt rumbled. "Not all of our brethren will accept you at first, so you must be quick and merciless to assert your authority. Use Ylesia to make sure the Besadii stays on top."
"As you command father." Durga replied sadly. "Although I will find it hard to run all of this without your advice. Do you know who did this to you."
"It had to be the Desjillac" Aruk rumbled. "They saw that the Besadii had become strong and they sought to end our rise by ending me. If you want to maintain our position in the cartel, you must eliminate the Desjillac as a threat. And one last thing, do not trust Black Sun or Xizor. Long have they coveted our criminal empire, and they would do anything to steal it from you. They will offer what looks like invaluable aid in exchange for your fealty but you must not accept. Times will be difficult and it will be tempting but you must be strong...."
Durga excused himself and left his father to his final peace. He had only just left the audience chamber when he was approached by Black Sun's visiting dignitary, the esteemed Prince Xizor. The Falleen Prince was also tailed by a discreet cabal of protectors. "I am sorry about what happened to your father." Xizor said. "No doubt the Desjillac were responsible for this. They must truly fear the alliance we have forged, if they are to be this brazen. Know this, my friend. Black Sun does not let people attack its partners and escape unpunished. I will do all in my power to assist with any vengeance you have in mind."
"And what are the terms of your help." Durga asked warily.
"There may be a task which I will need your help with, in the near future. The cost of my help is your promise to do the same for me, a favor for a favor."
"Is this an official deal from Black Sun, or is this a personal one." Durga replied.
"A personal one. Perhaps we can discuss this later in private?"Xizor whispered, casting a sly glanced at his Black Sun escorts.
"I will consider it" Durga said. "Now if you will excuse me, I have some arrangements to make."
"Of course". Xizor bowed and than walked on.

    Combo With A Blind Prophet
    Polis Massa

Wravachar understood the humans apprehensions, he was no stranger to such difficult situations, and with his aversion to violence he doubted he could have survived the ordeal that this Bookman had.

The Vigo Council hadn't told him much about this contact, he hadn't even known what to call him before Otsisa had updated him mere moments ago. But he did know what his objective here was. He was to accommodate the human, and see that his transition to serving the Black Sun went as smooth as possible.

And with that he spoke, barking out a simple message that quarters had been prepared for him in the dormitory wing. The Black Sun base here wasn't much to look at, little more than a medical outpost on the far side of Kessel, that not even the Polis Massans bothered to scout the area. But it would function for their purposes until they found a suitable location for Bookman to relocate to.

Yelping slightly as his feet had touched the cold, he shivered while listening to Wravachar mention that they had prepared quarters for him, and apologizing for the state of the base. That wasn't precisely of huge import, given that he apparently wasn't going to be here terribly long. "I would more than welcome even a broom closet so long as it was warmer than it is out here. And has clothes. Please, if you would lead the way I'll begin thinking about where I would ultimately like to go." Starting to shiver slightly, Bookman waited for the Wookiee to begin moving.

Wravachar nodded carefully, as he turned instantly walking down the corridor that led to the barracks.

He wasn't sure what to say given the situation.
So he simply led the way. He also didn't know exactly what was in stock for spare cloths, though he knew Bookman would figure out soon enough.

It was a quick journey, but a quiet one.
As they approached the small chamber he growled an understanding that they were expected to message the council soon, and they could do so from the map room where they could also take a finer look at where exactly he could set up his operation. And finally he asked if there was anything else the human might need.

While they had been walking Bookman had considered where he wanted to be, and he kept coming back to exactly one place. There was only one planet that truly connected the galaxy together, that all secrets passed through in some capacity, and where the seats of power all congregated in some capacity or another: Coruscant. Anyone in his position who wouldn't select Coruscant as their base of operations was a fool.

When they arrived in the room, Bookman immediately headed to the sani-steam. He needed at least a quick once over to simply feel human again, and there was no way he was putting on fresh clothing with that gunk still on him or in his hair. And so he felt himself relaxing for the first time in days, ever since he'd agreed to this scheme in the first place. He knew that he wasn't going to be summarily tied up as a loose end, that he was going to have at least a certain amount of autonomy, and that he might, just might be able to attain some power for himself. Overall the situation was starting to seem like a resounding win.

When he emerged, Bookman went to look in the closet and found some clothing that would... pretend to fit him. Though none of it was to his taste, being mere maintenance clothing. But that was better than being nude. Taking a deep breath, now clad in a dark blue body suit, he turned to the Wookiee and told him, "I'm ready to speak to the council, I think. And I know where I want to go." He made sure to speak with a confidence that he wasn't exactly feeling, as he didn't know for sure where he stood with this group.

Wravachar had waited patiently for the human to get ready, and acknowledged him with a curt growl when the door slid open again. He had hoped the man had put some thought into where he might wish to set up. The number of worlds available to him were massive. Would he go to the cooperate sector, the outer rim, return to Hutt space? Wravachar almost wish he could have had such options. He loved working for Conservative Jedi but that meant he never really got to choose where he wanted to go.

He turned to lead the way. Once again it was a short walk as could be expected in such a small building. But he had nothing to complain about.

As they entered the circular chamber the lights dimmed slightly. Wravachar typed in the security code, and stepped back as the members of the Vigio Council appeared. General Immodet, Shadow Trooper, Darth Rozic, Darth Master Titus, and ConservativeJedi321, all ready to hear from Bookman.

Wravachar did a slight introduction though he hardly knew the man, he was all about formalities. Finally he turned and indicated it was the humans turn to speak.

Taking a deep breath, Bookman began. "Greetings to you, Vigos. I'm glad to know that my information on Arok was of use." And that I managed to save my own skin. "I have been told that I get a choice of where I would like to be assigned, and if that is truly the case then I would choose Coruscant as my base of operations. If I am to be a gather of secrets for you then there is no better location in the entire galaxy for it, as even the hutts themselves have to do business with the powers that be on Coruscant. And it strikes me that it would also be a good thing for Black Sun to have a presence on the planet if it does not already have one, even if it can't be in quite as official a capacity as, say, a senator." Here he paused, debating whether there was more that should be said and decided against it. These were busy, and more importantly dangerous men, sticking to the necessities seemed like the most prudent course of action.

Getting rid of Arok the Hutt had a much bigger after-effect than Advisor Immodet previously anticipated. Not only was Black Sun stuck with a mysterious figure called Bookman A Blind Prophet, the Vigo Council's allies within Hutt space were also afterwards dragged into a conspiracy. Not too long ago, Shadow Trooper's agent Captain Malis reported the newly appointed leader of the Besadii Aruk the Hutt passed away as well. Although only a few people dared say it out loud, everyone knew the Desilijic had to be behind the assassination. Now, the Vigo Council was faced with the issue which parties would receive support. Immodet opened up a secure communication line with the other members of the Council. ConservativeJedi321 Darth Master Titus Darth Rozic

Let's handle the less important issues first. If it were up to me, I would give Bookman permission to settle down on Coruscant. After the death of Yanth the Hutt, our Coruscant department never really regained its strenght. Of course, Prince Xizor has been taking care of our business interests, but he cannot be fully trusted. And then there are those annoying Coruscanti crime families, who still fight each other for power. No, I think Bookman would fit right in. What harm could he do? In the worst case scenario, he just becomes a distraction for people like Xizor and his lackeys. Then, there is our second issue concerning the Besadii clan... Although Aruk already made many concessions, I think Black Sun can push it even farther. Without our support, Durga will not remain in control of his clan. So, I propose we slightly revise our previous proposal. Increase our income of the Ylesia mine, perhaps even regain our lost territory on Nar Shaddaa? In exchange, we will help protect Durga and track down the killers of his father. However, operating within Hutt space may create difficulties. Perhaps, there exists a much more subtle way to approach this matter? Do any of you have an idea?

Indeed, I concur with General Immodets assessment of Coruscant. It is the galactic center, and capital of the Empire. A fine choice to set up Bookman. It will be no small task of course, with crime families around every corner, and Imperial Intelligence likely to be breathing down your neck. But I'm sure you can handle any trouble that goes your way. There is a surplus of information there that could be of value to us, and it could be instrumental in branching out to those areas in which are grip has faltered in the past. Our control of the Core will be near absolute, and nobody will dare question our place as head of the underworld.

Onto the topic of Durga. I agree as well. We would be wise to attempt to gain what we can from these arrangements. Though we should test our limits, we must avoid appearing too aggressive. How Aruks death has altered the deal I can not guess. But it seems only right that our long time ally Durga would want to keep us happy. As you say he would not be in his current position if it were not for us. And after the trouble with Arok we have more than earned compensation. His opponents are many, the Desilijic are the obvious threat; yet Wara the Hutt vanished after the death of Arok, leaving much unknown about her involvement in that matter. Durga would be wise to strengthen his alliances to prevent any unforeseen trouble in the future.

Dealing with the Hutt situation will be tricky. Durga assures us that Aruk's illness was caused by a degenerative poison and not natural illness. He further alleges that the poisoner was one of the Besadii's own agents from the Ylesia facility. Vigo Darth Master Titus, you are our expert on assassination, so you must have extensive knowledge of any Black Market poison suppliers. Perhaps you could send some of your people to discover which merchant supplied our killer with his deadly toxin. There is not much poison powerful enough to slay a Hutt, so that should narrow down your search quite a bit.
All I ask is that your people use discretion and avoid antagonizing the Desjillac if at all possible. In some ways we were responsible for inflaming this clan war when enlisted Jabba the Hutt to help harass Arok. If this information were to come to light in Durga's investigations, that would not look good for Black Sun. The Desjillac overstepped their role in the plan when they murdered our candidate, but we do not want to antagonize them just yet as they are in a position to really do some damage to our efforts in Hutt Space if they feel threatened by us. This is why we can not send our own operatives to chase this killer directly. If the killer is a Desjillac employee, Jabba might see a Black Sun led man hunt as a hostile action by us and would act accordingly. My solution to this problem is simple. With the council's leave, I would contract Cradossk and his bounty Hunter Guild to take care of this investigation for us. Many of his hunters have taken contracts with the Hutts before and they know the inter clan intrigue very well. Furthermore, their presence in Hutt Space would not create any cause for suspicion among the Hutts, the clans would simply assume they are working for rival clans instead of Black Sun.
For extra security, I will not reveal to the hunters the true nature of our mission. The posted bounty will be for the poisoner on Ylesia and nothing more. Once he is delivered to us, we can have Vigo Darth Rozic use his skills at torture to extract the answers we need.

    Nal Hutta

After Aruk's death, a small delegation of Black Sun representatives had stayed behind on Nal Hutta. In uncertain times likes these, the Vigo Council considered it important to directly be in touch with the Besadii leadership. However, the relationship between Black Sun and its Hutt allies had become very tense over the last couple of weeks. Most certainly, after Captain Malis and Prince Xizor had put forward a revised version of the earlier established agreement between both parties. Durga the Hutt clearly did not like being taken advantage of. His father's last words were proven to be right, Black Sun couldn't be entirely trusted. However, the new leader of the Besadii clan wasn't left much of a choice. The Desilijic, who probably orchestrated his father's assassination, were rapidly taking over his criminal enterprises. Black Sun was his only hope, if he ever wanted to survive this deadly conflict. While thinking about his next move, Durga suddenly got interrupted by an attractive, blond-haired woman. She introduced herself as Guri, Prince Xizor's second-in-command. Since the Falleen Prince was under constant surveillance by Captain Malis, she now acted as Xizor's spokesperson. Guri handed over a hologram recording to Durga, urging the leader of the Besadii clan to watch it as soon as possible. She told Durga the recording contained a proposal about all the things her master had to offer. Then, Guri disappared, not wanting to be discovered by any of Captain Malis' guys.

Carefully evading the guards, Guri snuck into Prince Xizor's quarters. The Falleen was pleased to finally hear from her.
Xizor: Did you deliver the recording to Durga? How did he react?
Guri: I don't know. My programs, concerning Hutt behavior, were unable to analyze his response.
Xizor: Doesn't matter. I am sure he will turn to our side. Those fools on the Vigo Council never should have changed the agreement with the Besadii clan. However, I am glad they did. It gave me an opportunity to attract Durga's attention.
Guri: Very clever. How do you want me to proceed?
Xizor: The Vigo Council has been in touch with Cradossk's bounty hunter guild. The Trandoshan's men were hired to find out who killed Durga's father. Yet, we must uncover the identity of the killer first.
Guri: So, do you want to start my own search?
Xizor: No, let the bounty hunters do their job. Whenever one of them uncovers the truth, you move in. Get rid of the bounty hunter and transmit the information to me.
    Guri: Very well, master.

The rambunctious crowd was unusually subdued on this day, only three shootings, and four fistfights had broken out. The bartender, a rather portly green Twi'lek had just filled his fifth drink of the night when the door swung open, and the sharp light that filled the dark room blinded him slightly for a moment, though the dark skinned Chalactan did not flinch as many of the other patrons did.

In ran a young female Kel Dor, her name he could not recall as she was just one of many couriers the Bounty Hunter Guild Employed. She met the other patrons stares head on, though it was obvious enough she was nervous. Clearly she was inexperienced, but she put on a good show as she approached his seat at the bar.

"Resht Yillarni, Cradossk has been buzzing you for an hour!"

The dark skinned man was not impressed. With a surprising force he set his drink on the counter, rocking it slightly as he stood up to face her. He was a whole head taller than the puny Kel Dor, and she was clearly trembling now.

"After the Wheel job fell through you better have a damn good reason for interrupting my drink little lady."
He spoke in a soft voice, but it carried a harsh tone. The girls body language spoke volumes of her fear, but her mask covered her facial features preventing him from telling much more. Which is why he hated dealing with these kinds of species, they were impossible to read. He didn't even have to wonder if that was the reason Cradossk had chosen her to fetch him.

"The boss says this is a sure job. And you're talents are particularly suited for this mission."

Resht leaned back on the counter, and crossed his arms. His people were commonly spiritual, so freelancers such as him were rare, and the talents they brought with them even more-so. He and the Tradoshan hadn't always gotten along, so he knew when Cradossk called on him specifically he meant business. In fact he figured his unique set of skills were probably the only reason he hadn't been eaten yet, that and he suspected the lizard enjoyed their little back and forth.

"I'm busy, if its that important Cradossk can wait." He shrugged with indifference. He knew it best not to press his luck, but he couldn't make it look to easy either, that would destroy the point of their little game.

The girl shook her head. "He's serious Resht, he wants you now." She looked over her shoulder careful of the other patrons. "Rumor is the job is for the Black Sun... a ship touched down today and..." Just then the door swung open again, second time in that hour, and the patrons were getting testy now. Several unbuckled their weapons, and were more than prepared to shoot the unwanted intruder until they saw what it was.

A large growl was heard, and a brownish-red haired Wookiee stalked through the door, given the guests such an eye they knew if they crossed this one they would be lunch. And just to make the point it tore the arm off an old IG-66 unit that was unfortunate enough to have been sitting at the table closest to the door.

It didn't take long for the room to clear of everyone except the Wookiee, Kel Dor, and Resht, who took a moment to take another sip of his drink.

The large hairy creature nodded at the Kel Dor girl who took it as her cue to run, and it was just him and Resht left.
"You sure know how to make an entrance." He smirked as he raised his drink in toast to the Wookiees charade.

It didn't even acknowledge him, just taking a communicator off his belt, and a blue image of a pale skinned man, in a formal coat appeared on it.

The man first talked to the Wookiee, offering a hardy laugh he spoke. "See Wravachar, as I told you, its all about looks. Those thugs only care about self preservation, and when confronted with a more frightening foe, all they can do is flee."

Then he turned to face Resht, who had returned to his seat, curious to see how this would go, but not the least bit frightened.

"Now that we have your attention Mister Yillarni, perhaps you will listen to my offer."

Resht shrugged his shoulders, and snickered with amusement at the whole situation.
"Oh I'm in, this has to be something important if you went through all this trouble. And something important mean big credits heading my way."

After the Black Sun contract was accepted by the guild, Cradossk gave priority orders for all Bounty Hunters in Hutt Space to investigate into the Besadii murders. Having just received a huge payday from Jabba the Hutt, Bossk and some of his associates decided to get a head start on the competition by interrogating members of Jabba's retinue.
After discreetly dropping hints of their mission and promises of rewards for any information, the Hunters at last found one of Jabba's associates who was willing to play.
The informant was a shifty looking Quarren named Tessek. one of Jabba's accountants. The squid man looked extremely uncomfortable in the desert heat of the Twin Suns.
"What do you have for us." Bossk said.
I looked into your queries about the assassin. Our accounting logs do not show any freelancers hired for Jobs in Besadii space. Your assassin must therefore be one of the Desjillac employees. I can also confirm that some of Jabba's funds went towards bribing some operators in the Besadii Ylesia facility."
"I'm going to need more to go on then that." Bossk growled irritably. "I could have easily deduced this information even without paying you."
I would suggest you try looking among the Ylesia security team." Tessek told Bossk. "The poison was slow acting and was administered via food. The poisoner must have needed to repeatedly poison the food over the course of several months. I have procured a list of all staff payed off by the Desjillac clan during the suspected time frame of the assassination. If you can track down the guards pulling duty in that post, you can discover whom they interacted with and which cooks they were paid to ignore."
With the information delivered, the Quarren huried off for the cool shelter of a near by transport. Bossk looked over the list. "Looks like we have a starting point. Computer, Call Durga for me and request that he detain all employees on Ylesia until I arrive. Tell him that I have a lead on his father's killer."

    Vigo Titus
    In orbit above Kessel

Vigo Titus had taken a long absence from just about everything. Nobody had seen him or even heard from him in weeks. Titus was mysterious; working in both the shadows and in the light. Truth be told, he embarked on a "business" trip, collecting some outstanding payments from former clients. This had nothing to do with the Black Sun, it was just personal business. He had returned to Kessel where his men oversees the spice mines when his fellow Vigos contacted him about a mission.

The mission this time was to track down a poison dealer on Nal Hutta. But there were certain precautions they had to meet with this mission. One, he himself could not be anywhere near the planet. Black Sun affiliation would cause unwanted suspicion. Second, we cannot antagonize the Desilijic clan unless we want Jabba the Hutt to retaliate. Titus was told by Vigo Shadow Trooper to possibly hire one of Cradossk's bounty hunters, but Titus was not so keen on that.

Opening a comm channel..Errai, gather Pax and Ciro in the lunch hall. We have matters to discuss. I will be at the prison shortly.

Sitting on top of a table, Pax, Ciro, and Errai were quietly speaking as Titus strolled into the hall. "Where in the hell have you been, friend?" Errai asked Titus as they clasped arms. "Had business to attend to. You know how it is," Errai gave a soft laugh and a nod of the head. "So, what's going on?"

"Aruk the Hutt has died. It is suspected by poison. I know you three are all knowledgeable with the Hutt system as you've all done business within Hutt space. This time the mission calls for Nal Hutta. We are to track down whoever supplied the killer with the poison. I am told it has to be a very deadly poison, for no Hutt would be effected by weak toxins. We are looking for a dealer of a very potent poison. Would you know where to look?"

"Kriff yeah," Pax answered, nudging his cousin Ciro on the arm with his elbow. Errai stood up, "When do we leave?"

"You don't, they do,". After a few seconds of silence Errai finally spoke up. "Hmm, let me guess. Black Sun can't have anything to do with this, and since I've been around for a while, you don't want to risk someone recognizing me as your right hand man..?" Titus smiled and nodded, "smart man".

Pax and Ciro jumped up eager to get started. "What do we do once we find our guy?"

"Secure the target and then contact me. I will then get in touch with General Immodet and Shadow Trooper to discuss further action." With that Pax and Ciro set off for Nal Hutta.

    Pax and Ciro
    Nal Hutta

The two cousins finally landed on Nal Hutta and made their way out into the busy streets. Nal Hutta was a very marshy, swamp planet. A disgusting place for disgusting criminals. Pax and Ciro absolutely loved it!

"Ah, it's great to be back," Ciro said. "We had some great times on this planet, you myself and Rig." The thought of their lost cousin still stung, dying what seemed like yesterday in their takeover of the Kessel prison. They shook the morbid memory out of their head as they wanted to stay sharp. "So what leads do we have so far?" Ciro asked his cousin.

"So we are looking for someone who deals the finest of poisons here. First suspects that come to mind are Fuil Svel and Akrish Drem," offered Pax.

"The Ithorian and Red Nikto?" Ciro laughed. "The Fuil Svel had the worst poison we've ever bought cousin. No way he'd have that kind of stock. Drem on the other hand..That Nikto is top quality. I would pay him a visit."

About twenty five minutes later they entered a back alley filled with black market vendors and hardened gangsters and thugs. "Oooh, just our type of people,". They spotted the familiar vendor just in the distance and they approached. This vendor in particular was crowded. Akrish Drem was officially an unofficial stimpack dealer. He was unofficially and unofficial drug and poison dealer to those who were informed. "Hey buddy! Remember us?" Ciro teased Drem.

Drem looked up and spat with hate. "I thought I told you to never come to me again. Last time I sold you inventory I had gangsters knocking on my door. Where's the other one, isn't there three of you?" A couple of seconds of cold stares and no responses, Drem got the hint. "Ah, was coming eventually. You three are always up to no good. What do you want?"

Pax spoke up. "If someone were to ask for some of the most potent poisons, what would you recommend?"

Drem thought for a second. "Let's see. Maybe white fieljine...?" Pax shook his head. "No, that only affects Falleens. We are interested in something that can kill any and everybody."

"Well that leaves dioxis, worrt, and synox." Ciro then began his observation. "Dioxis is a gas form. Synox is colorless, odorless, and tasteless. That is a good candidate. Tell me, what is this worrt you speak of. I've never heard of it."

"Um, what is worrt? Who mentioned a worrt?" Drem giggled very nervously. "What's the matter Akrish? You seem a little...off," Ciro sarcastically asked. "Nothing. Nothing of concern I assure,".

Pax unsheathed a blaster. "See..We cannot just take your word. You know something that you're not telling us. We want answer. Now!" Pax slammed the blaster into the Nikto's gut. "Okay, okay. Calm down. A worrt is an amphibious create from Tattooine." Thinking his answer was sufficient, Drem gave a coy smile. "Nuh uh. Not good enough, Pax fired a shot into the sky and then pressed the hot barrel of the blaster onto Drem's neck. The Nikto let out a suppressed shout as his flesh was burnt.

Ciro looked around to see the scene his cousin had just caused. All of the innocent civilians were scattering out of the alley. The ones who remained were the vendor owners and criminals. And they were watching the situation closely. Ciro stepped up to Pax, "careful cuz. Drawing too much attention for my liking,". Pax pressed the barrel deeper into Drem's neck. "One last time..speak!"

"...a worrt is indeed an amphibious creature, but it also highly venomous and can be used as a poison. It is known to be able to kill a bantha. I've told you all I know!" Pax still wasn't satisfied. "There are worrts here on Nal Hutta?" Akrish sighed, "Yes, only because I import them,". Pax holstered the blaster. "Now we're talking. Who do you sell them to?"

"Please I cannot say! The people I sell them to will kill me! I fear them more than I do you. They just use them as house-pets." Now it was Ciro who grew tired. He pulled out a knife and pressed it to the Nikto's eyelid. "More!". Drem spat in disgust this time. "Of course you two have not changed one bit! I sell them to extremely powerful people. A certain criminal organization, but that is all I will say. I have given you enough information to lead you on the right path to whatever you are looking for! Now leave me be!"

"One last thing. How do you extract the venom? And are you the only one who knows?".

"Just as you would with almost any other venomous creature. Force it out of the glands that excrete it. In this case it is excreted through its teeth. Oh and if one were to consume it, it would taste like copper, tricopper to be exact which is mined on Ord Cestus, not that it matters what tricopper is. So if you want to poison someone with it, you better make sure the food you are mixing it with is very flavorful. If you wish to be more subtle, administer small doses of the worrt venom every now and then to avoid suspicion. And I attached a note of how to extract the venom, since they asked. If you want a worrt, come back in a week. I only get a shipment of them once every month. Look, I even told you how to kill with it. Let me go!"

Satisfied enough, Ciro hailed a secure channel to Vigo Titus. "Titus, we've found our supplier."

"Well done. I'm patching in Shadow Trooper and General Immodet."

"Pax and I have found our poison dealer. He says we are likely looking for a worrt. It is a creature that can be used as house-pets, and he claims he sells them to a criminal organization but won't say who. I think we can guess who that might be. Is there a way we can find out if the Desijilic clan keeps worrts as house-pets? And lastly, what should we do with Akrish Drem, the supplier?"

Captain Tulkis was on watch when Pax and Ciro reported their success. "Excellent Work, Friends" the Whipid told the duo. "Shadow Trooper would be very pleased to be given an accounting of all of the poisoner's client. I would like you to detain the poisoner for further questioning. If you can, try and lure the Poisoner onto the Smuggler's moon, where we had the old Black Sun base. Vigo Shadow Trooper knows the area well. That part of Nar Shadda was where his old friend, the Nightsister Vigo Shadowmancer held court before she was murdered. I will be waiting there with some of the Corellian's best operatives to take the weapon dealer into custody. I know it will be much trouble for all of us if he resists, seeing that you guys are operating in the Heart of Hutt power. Remember the Corellian's instruction. Secrecy is of the utmost importance. Try and entice him to come on his free will, perhaps under the pretense of a weapon's deal with our organization. Once this is over, you are welcome to come visit my master on Corellia. The Vigo would like to personally reward you for your service."

Ciro closed the comm channel when Captain Tulkis finished talking. He pulled Pax to the side who was still watching the poison supplier. "What do we do now?

"A certain Captain Tulkis wants us to transport Drem to the Smuggler's moon." Ciro exclaimed. "Do you trust him?" asked Pax.

"I mean..no, I don't. I have no idea who that Tulkis is. But if he works for Vigo Shadow Trooper then he is trustworthy. Being in the game this long has probably made us overly paranoid."

"Ha, tell me about. Well how do we go about this?" wondered Pax. Ciro took the lead, walking over to the Red Nickto.

"Drem, we need you to come with us to Nar Shaddaa,".

"I have no business on the Smuggler's moon. I gave you two what you wanted."

"Here's the thing, Akrish. We happen to work for some people who want and need what you have to offer. Your stock can put our guys over the top. And I know men like you. Money drives you. You have no integrity, you have no responsibilities. And most importantly you don't care who gets burned on your way to the top. And that is why you and our employers are the perfect match. For just a little bit of your time, a day at most, we can make you a very wealthy man. What do you say Akrish? Will you go to the Smuggler's moon with us?"

"What would guys like you need with poisons? You are a guns blazing type. I do not deal with things that go boom!!"

"You are not wrong. But think for a second here. I know you're an opportunistic man. Think of this as an opportunity to expand. You can move on from dealing with the likes of gangs in Hutt space and move into other markets. So, what do you say..? You can walk away at any time, but we'd appreciate it if you accompany us,".

"Fine, fine. I will hear your employer's offer. Let's get this over with."

The three men made it back to the space port as they made their way to Nar Shaddaa.
