    Shadowmancer, a hooded Nightsister wreathed in a black cloak with twin swords strapped to her back, bows in greeting @General Immodet once he arrives at a secret landing location. She has a small number of Nightsisters and Nightbrothers with her. They also bow.

    “A pleasure to finally meet you as well, Vicelord.”

    Before she can answer the question regarding @Shadow Trooper’s arrival, the self-same announces that he has just landed and plans to meet at the rendezvous point.

    “Vicelord, I must agree with @Shadow Trooper. Never trust a Hutt. As you yourself said, it could be a trap. For that reason, the meeting location is not really at the ‘Crimson Square’. I have a few Harpies posing as us; decoys if you will, who will proceed to that location. If the Hutt has planned a trap, he will likely spring it there. Part of me hopes he does, I’d be personally disappointed if he doesn’t. That aside, the real meeting place is in the old abandoned Corellian Depot. We control that entire area, of that you can be sure. If Gargonn wishes for a continued future, he will show up there without incident. He must show us a sign of trust and obeisance.

    Any news from our other members?

    Your skill and determination is remarkable, Shadowmancer. I am sure Underlord Master Selkath takes such devotion in high esteem.
    Now, let's wait and see. I am quite curious what Gargonn is up to. As you said, Hutts cannot be trusted. They are slimy creatures in every sense of the word.
    aalagartassle has been monitoring Gargonn's cash flow. He might have some more information for us to work with.

    My sources confirm that his Cash flow is tied up in small to medium armlaments, mainly stock black market blasters and of course his other smuggling enterprises such as spice dealer and slave trader [rather small for a Hutt]. I'm surprised to see His credit flow is generous for a low ranking Hutt. I suggest there may be a bigger worm using him as bait and backing him under the table. But unfortunately his credit line is uncorruptable as he does not deal exclusively with Muunilinst bankers or launderers so I can not form a truly accurate picture of his activities outside of his seen enterprises. I don't trust the Hutts full stop, I'll take their credits but not their other business' enterprises.

    On the plus side I have been dilgently setting up for the spice runs as mentioned before, the credits and benifts will soon come to fruition... more well placed money to the officials and then I'm ready for flooding the Muunlinst market with high grade spice for a extremely high grade price.

    Thank you for the update, aalagartassle. It might be beneficial to know there might be someone behind Gargonn. I think for the meanwhile we should not delve too much into this. As long as Gargonn accepts our deal, it does not matter who is backing him up.

    I am sure your little enterprise will do well considering Muunilinst attrackts many wealthy people. They have the cash to pay for Spice. I even think you can ask more than the normal rate, but I am not an expert in such matters. You would better discuss this with Shadow Trooper.

    aalagartassle I approve of this plan. Most of the High Grade spice in our organization has been limited to the core worlds and along the Corellian trade spine due to competition from the Hutt Cartel. If you can take over the entire market on Muunilinst it would be a huge boost to our spice smuggling operation and could give us a stronger foothold against the Hutts in the Outer Rim.

    As @General Immodet finishes his communication to the Underlord himself, I make a subtle hand gesture and the Harpies recede into the shadows and disappear out of sight. They will be nearby, creating a protective ‘ring of death’ all around us. I nod to both @Shadow Trooper and the Vicelord, signaling that we are ready to depart. I get no update on the situation at the Crimson Square. At least, not yet.

    When you say "a player needs only add themselves to the official game roster" what do you mean by that? Is that a separate forum? Sorry to bother.

    Shadowmancer This is troubling news. Until we see how Gargonn reacts to our decoys, I am not willing to risk myself by negotiating with that slug.

    OOC: Hello KrazAgtlei. In order to join this game you simply have to post your username and your base of operations. Our GM General Immodet will add you to his list and than our Underlord Master Selkath will decide a position for you.

    @Shadow Trooper expresses his concern regarding the meeting with Gargonn the Hutt and almost as if on cue, I get a report:

    Decoys engaged at the Red Square. Ambush by Gargonn hired thugs fails. There are no survivors among the Hutt’s men, save for one who is sent to his master, instructing him to appear at the Corellian Depot. His remaining men are to disarm or all their lives are forfeit. A forward recon is also sent to witness the event as well as get confirmation for agents who’ve already infiltrated Gargonn’s ranks. The decoys are then instructed to continue to an area near the Corellian Depot and await further instruction.

    “Vigo @Shadow Trooper, Vicelord @General Immodet. I have received word from the Red Square.”

    I proceed to deliver the report in detail and expect the Vicelord and the Corellian Vigo to both be satisfied. It is my task to make sure they travel unharmed while on Nar Shaddaa and nothing will keep that from becoming reality. Not even Gargonn the Hutt.

    As I finish my report another update arrives, which I relay. Gargonn, though escorted by a small armed force, has made it to the Depot. No hostilities are exchanged. He is calling for a truce.

    He has yet to disarm his men, however.

    The room chilled by ten degrees the moment he walked in. "Hello my friends." An odd emphasis was put on friends, as if it was a new word that the man was unable to use properly in a sentence.

    "My name is ... well my name is not important right now. The late master had a special use for my ... he thought of an appropriate term, planet. In the deep core. A warehouse of special items that he did not want his."

    He paused for a moment and made a sweeping movement with a six fingered hand.

    "Subordinates to get their hands on."

    "The master is dead. And his ... items are mine by default. These items can be of use to people looking for power. So I propose a partnership with whoever is wise enough to join me."

    "My name is Mr. Blue. And we will talk again."

    Thuro. Eclipse.

    "@General Immodet Gargonn just tried to sell us out. Vicelord. I think it would be best that we don't physically attend this meeting. Making sure Gargonn is compliant is a crucial matter; however, it is not important enough to put three of Black Sun's top officers at risk. Shadowmancer I think that it is unwise for myself and General Immodet to meet this slug in person just yet, especially after he has acted in such bad faith. It seems your murder of all my former employees did not send a strong enough message. Assassinate all his henchmen and put a good scare into him. Make it very clear that you will only let him live if he concedes to all of our demands and that any further attempts to betray us will not end well for him."

    Shadow Trooper takes a moment to compose himself before reaching for his comlink. While Gargonn's betrayal was predictable, Shadow Trooper is still angry that the Hutt has the audacity to try and double cross Black Sun.

    "Greetings KrazAgtlei and Thuro. As Vigo of smuggling and piracy for our organization, let me be the first to formally welcome you into the reformed Black Sun. If you require my people to procure or transport anything, I am sure we could work out a most beneficial arrangement. Feel free to contact me on Corellia if you would like to discuss an alliance."

    "@Master Selkath Underlord, our business on Nar Shaddaa is coming to a close. By the end of this day, Gargonn will either be dead or a Black Sun affiliate. If you would permit it Underlord, I would like to request another meeting of the Vigos to introduce our newest members and to plan our next move against the Hutt cartel."

    Maybe you are right. From now on, we should make sure there are not too many Vigos on the same place at the same time. The massacre of Ralltiir has proven that we should be more careful, indeed. Let us negotiate with Gargonn throught the use of an intermediary. A protocol droid can serve as our voices while we are not physically present.

    OOC: I have an important announcement to make. Shadow Trooper will join me as gamemaster of this thread. I am sure he will do a great job! The two of us will try to make sure the game is played as it should. So, if you have any suggestions or questions, please contact us.
    Welcome to the Black Sun game! Thank you for joining. Master Selkath will assign you a position in the organization soon. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

    "My Lords, I shall deal with Gargonn....personally. By your leaves."

    With that, I bow to @General Immodet and retreat into the shadows, disappearing from view and perception. Immediately, two of my cloaked Harpies, one male and one female, take my place at the Vicelord's side to guarantee his safety. They would die first before failing to protect him. That is a mercy compared to dealing with me should they fail and live.

    As I make my way to the Corellian Depot, I order a full assault on Gargonn and his remaining men. They remain defiant and try to dictate terms. Black Sun required them to lay down their arms and bend their knees in deference. They failed to comply, and now they must suffer the consequences.

    The agents hiding within Gargonn's ranks make their move, attacking with the element of surprise and disabling all lines of defense. It is over almost as soon as it begins.

    I arrive in time to see the last vestiges of the massacre and take my time walking up to the slimy Hutt. Their minds may be resistant to manipulation, but such sensitivity means he will hear me as I speak into his mind using my dathomiri sorcery.

    {"Gargonn, it is over. Your disobedience is no longer amusing. Everyone last one of your allies has perished because of you. There's nothing that can change that. I am here to execute you."}

    I take a moment to savor the fear exuding from the slug as I slowly approach; Black Sun's shadow of death.

    Gargonn's remaining eye bulges at the realization of the truth. He is alone. I am not surprised as he produces a thermal detonator from under one of his repulsive fleshy folds. I offer him a chilling smile from under my hood.

    {"Seriously? Do you truly believe that would work on someone who could make all this happen?"}

    I gesture with a sweeping motion at his dead henchmen.

    {"Swear your loyalty to Black Sun and you will live. Your only other choice is death. In the end, it's not a hard decision. What will it be? You have five seconds to decide. 4....3....2...."}

    Gargonn lets the thermal detonator drop to the floor and it rolls away. The deadly device is inactive, but still deadly none-the-less. I nod, understanding the subtle significance.

    "Long Live Gargonn..."

    With that pronouncement, I order my forces to retreat, leaving behind the Hutt among the massacred, the corpses of disobedience.

    "We'll keep in touch."

    I myself retreat into the shadows whence I came and begin to make my way back to our Vicelord. On my way, I inform them both @General Immodet, and @Shadow Trooper of Black Sun's success.

    "It is done. Gargonn has submitted, for now."

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    OOG: Congrats to @Shadow Trooper on your co-GM position.
    Due to the quick thinking of Shadowmancer, Black Sun is once again in a position of power. Gargonn the Hutt has submitted to our will, creating endless opportunities for us. The Spice market is totally under our control now. The smugglers of Shadow Trooper have a whole new network thanks to Gargonn. Apart from that, aalagartassle will dominate the Muunilinst sector in regards to Spice sale. All this shall increase our income, opening up possibilities to use our new stream of money to retake possession of our sectors. Long live Black Sun!
    The problems that have beset Corellia at the end of Alexi Garyn's rule have mostly been resolved. Thanks to my deal with Vigo aalagartassle I was able to obtain the necessary funds to bribe or murder the troublesome CorSec officers. My operation against my renegade employee's was also a success thanks to Vigo Shadowmancer and her expertise with assassination. We made an example of the traitors that will make anyone else think twice before crossing us.
    The spice trade is far more profitable now than it ever was during Alexi Garyn's reign. My dealings with Vigo aalagartassle on Muunilist have opened up a vast new market in the Outer Rim for high grade spice. I would also like to thank Vicelord General Immodet and especially Vigo Shadowmancer for their help in convincing Gargonn to serve Black Sun. This action has given us a major advantage in seizing control of the Spice trade away from the Hutts.
