Vader'sGoodHand I am in need of additional smugglers and enforcers in order to restore our power on Corellia. Aalagartassle has provided me with some credits just for this purpose. I was wondering if you could use your power as head of recruiting to take these credits and entice some suitable individuals to serve with our smuggling and pirating operations.

Master Selkath Underlord, since Shadowmancer turned down her appointment as military commander, have you considered an alternate candidate for this position? Our military forces are in desperate need of a commander, a being with experience in leading soldiers. I am just a simple smuggler and unskilled in the ways of warfare, plus my operation is already overtaxed handling piracy and smuggling, so I am unsuitable for this task; however some of our other Vigos would probably be more appropriate for this role. Another matter I would like to bring to your attention Underlord is the need for an assassination specialist for Black Sun. Murder for hire was one of the main services we provided under Alexi Garyn and it brought in a considerable amount of this organization's revenue. We also might need skilled assassins in order to attack our rivals when a show of direct military force would be unsuccessful. Shadowmancer has shown unparalleled skill in infiltration and assassination so perhaps you could appoint her to this crucial office. Without Vigos to handle our military and our assassination branches we have no way to strike back at those who would destroy us.

Shadow Trooper I agree with you on Shadowmancer and I offer the position if she would like it. What we need is someone who has the skill and experience to coordinate our military forces. I myself would be willing to do that if no one wishes to do it but I ask if any member is qualified to handle this position.

Shadow Trooper: Very well, my associates will contact you soon. In the past, I already worked together with several other prominent members of Black Sun. aalagartassle and I have been using the donation funding of the Ffib for hiding some of Black Sun's money. Also, I helped the assassins of Shadowmancer use Ffib identities as a cover to get in closely guarded places.

Shadow Trooper Understood Vicelord! The propaganda we have circling has done enough in the system to get a rise out of some of the locals and how should I say, people who fit our culture. ;) Of course a bit of coin goes a long way as well.
That being said I can have a full group within a few days.

Underlord @Master Selkath, Vicelord @General Immodet, Vigos and fellow members; I am pleased with the nomination and accept the offer to head your ‘wet works’ department. I shall immediately take account and assess our strengths and current standings throughout our organization. Any past ‘marks’ that have gone unattended will be given priority. @Shadow Trooper; should you need a hand with that Corsec problem or that unknown assassin, just say the word.

Thanks to the contributions of Vader'sGoodHand and his recruiting effort and the funding of aalagartassle I think I have the CorSec problem under control.
There is however a more sensitive matter which I can use your assistance with Shadowmancer. A task which would be best handled with your particular talents. The best part about this operation is that you wouldn't even have to leave Nar Shaddaa. As I mentioned in my status report, several of my former employees used the chaos created by the collapse of Alexi Garyn's regime to steal Black Sun's spice and defect to our rivals, the Hutt cartel. My sources indicate that they have travelled to the hub of the Hutt's smuggling operation, the Smuggler's Moon. What they have not realized is that you, our deadliest assassin, happen to have your headquarters in the very place they have taken refuge. With your assistance, we can turn their safe haven into a slaughter house and show these renegades the price for betraying Black Sun. It will also send a message to the Hutts that Black Sun is the true ruler of the Smugglers moon and that they are allowed to exist only because you allow them to. Elimination of these troublesome smugglers would greatly benefit your control on Nar Shaddaa and my influence in the spice markets.

I agree with Shadow Trooper. Let's send our enemies a clear message. Black Sun will not be messed with!
Our greatest adversary on Nar Shaddaa is crimelord Gargonn the Hutt.

Apparently, Gargonn has fallen out of favour with his fellow Hutts. The Hutt cartels only deal with him because he controls much of the black market on Nar Shaddaa. Maybe after a few setbacks, he could be forced to work with us? What do you propose? How will Shadowmancer deal with Gargonn?

Master Selkath Underlord, I urge you to order the assassination of this vile slug. If this Hutt is so willing to betray his current masters, he is just as likely to betray us as soon as he gets a better offer. Loyalty to Black Sun is what makes our organization like us so powerful. I would not risk our organization by relying on such an untrustworthy being. Better to eliminate him now and replace his control over the smugglers of Nar Shaddaa with one of our own affiliates.

I don't agree. Assassinating Gargonn will make the Hutts very angry. Our organization is still too weak to handle a war with the Hutts.

Understood. Gargonn’s elimination will be carried out solely upon the Underlord’s kill order. All other spice dealers will be culled a.s.a.p, consequently crippling Gargonn’s operation. They will have no choice but to concede to our terms of trade. Is this acceptable?

By assassinating my renegades, now Hutt affiliates, are we not already declaring animosity towards the Hutts? I don't know much about our other criminal sectors, but I consider myself somewhat of an expert on Spice, and I warn you that the Hutts are ready to gobble up the entire spice trade. We are not making even a fraction of the profit we made under Garyn and the Hutts have squeezed my people out of everywhere except the Corellian trade spine. Almost a fourth of my former dealers decided to abandon us and throw their lots in with the Hutt cartel. The Hutts already smell blood in the water; If we do not take any action against them, they will know for certain that we are weak and will move in to steal everything. But you know this Gargonn better than I, General Immodet. If you think you can sway him, I am willing to let you try. My industry is the most at risk from the Hutts though, so if your plan fails, it is going to be my businesses which pay the most severe price.

I personally feel that Gargonn's death would not necessarily anger the hutts. As you have said, he has fallen out with the other hutts. If he is taken down however, he could be replaced by someone far more loyal to the hutt cartel. If this was not Nar Shaddaa than I would approve of the assassination but the hutts have Nar Shaddaa around their grubby fingers. I do agree that if we were to kill him and it sparked a war, we would lose. I believe that if we conduct a operation to not kill him but a show of strength, we can get results without the risk of war.

Master Selkath Very well. I respect your decision Underlord. I would still like to carry out assassinations against my traitorous employees. We can't allow anyone to betray us like that and expect to continue breathing. I would also like permission to have our pirates to begin harassing Hutt cargoes in order to further disrupt their spice trafficking.

General Immodet I am curious to know how you intended to win this Hutt over to our side. Hutts are naturally greedy creatures and I fail to understand why this slug would side with us over his own kind when the Hutt cartels are on the verge of controlling the entire spice smuggling market.

I think you look at the situation in a wrong way. Gargonn did not betray his fellow Hutts, his fellow Hutts betrayed him.
Gargonn's head was eaten off by Wandrella on Circarpous V. As a result, the other Hutts began thinking of him as weak.
Gargonn was abandonned on the streets of Nar Shaddaa, forced to do horrible things to survive.
Ultimately, he became involved in black market trafficking. The Hutt cartels did not have any choice, but to deal with him again.

That is why I think this Gargonn could be swayed into helping us get revenge on our enemies.
If Master Selkath allows it, I would like to travel to Nar Shaddaa.
I am sure Shadowmancer and I can persuade him into doing our bidding.
Like our Underlord said, Gargonn might be more valuable alive than dead.
If he decides not to cooperate, Shadowmancer can still assassinate him...

Master Selkath I would like to request a spot at these negotiations as well. If Gargonn does decide he wants to help us, I am probably going to have to deal with him often in the future, due to the importance of Nar Shaddaa in the spice trade. Of course we should wait until after Shadowmancer has assassinated our traitors. The loss of his new dealers may make Gargonn more willing to negotiate with us.

I am launching the Gargonn initiative, even as we speak. The sooner he is dealt with, the sooner we can reassert our position on Nar Shaddaa. I'm also prepared to rendezvous with you Vicelord,by your command.

General Immodet and myself will arrive for negotiations as soon as you have eliminated the last of my former smugglers. Shadowmancer I am sure that you will do an exceptional job at guarding Immodet and myself but if you require more personnel to ensure the security of this meeting, I can reassign some of my men from pirating duties to serve under your command. I would also like to reiterate my thanks for your assistance in handling this whole mess. You have proved to be quite an effective partner and I hope we get more chances to collaborate in the future.

    Gargonn Initiative; status report:

My ‘Harpies’ report a sweeping success. Nearly all of the would-be spice lords operating under Gargonn were caught completely by surprise. The few who caught wind of the culling did so when it was far too late, since the notion actually worked in our favour, spreading fear and panic amongst their ranks. We struck suddenly and with no mercy from the very shadows they used to hide. The Hutt is holed-up in his garrison, however, we have agents on the inside. The area is secured my Lords. I am ready to personally join you if it is your wish. You may descend on Nar Shaddaa, for it’s your rightful footstool.

Splendid work, Shadowmancer. Once again, the Galaxy has known fear...
My shuttle is nearing your headquarters. Prepare for my arrival. Shadow Trooper and I will join you shortly.
Send one of your men to Gargonn with the time and location of our meeting with him.

The message was sent via protocol droid. It makes for a less tempting target. Can’t have a desperate Hutt getting ideas to hold one of our agents captive. That being said, the time and 'neutral' location are set. Sending you up-to-date data now. I still advise we proceed with caution. A desperate man will take desperate measures…every time. Slimy Hutt or not.

Nice to finally meet you in person. You have quite a reputation, I must say.
Has Shadow Trooper arrived yet? I want to get this over with as soon as possible.
Make sure the location of our rendez-vous is secure. Like you said, it could be a trap.

General Immodet Shadowmancer I have landed on the Smuggler's Moon and will meet you at the rendezvous point. I have to commend you both on your prudence; the Hutt is hardly a trustworthy being and there is always the possibility that he will try to sell us out to his bosses. Killing the three of us would cripple Black Sun, and Gargonn may try to murder us as an opportunity to return to the good graces of masters.
