Hi everyone!

Just wanted to mention that I have stopped logging onto FB for now. I stopped a couple of weeks ago. It started because I was super busy, but then when I'd been off only 2-3 days FB started flooding my inbox with their "you're missing so much by not logging in" emails. Like seriously, there have been days I've had 4 of those in a 24hr period. Some days it's only 1 or 2. Once in a while they miss a day, but I figure that's an accident. In any case, it seriously annoyed me and now every time they send another one of those emails it firms my resolve to stay off!

I am still on twitter, and I will try to swing by here more often. I don't want to lose touch with everyone!

 

Popping in from the new job! All good here. Although they block Facebook...which I'm getting used to. I'm getting my news via AVclub.com and Io9.com feeds and just waiting until I get home. Weird!

T - you can turn off your emails from FB, I stopped liking everything and actually commenting on peoples posts and I was seeing more of my friends status on my page and less ads or 'suggested' posts. I only go on a couple times a day, so if someone wants me to see something they need to tag me or post on my wall.

JT - hope the new job is going well, I just applied to a DaVita accounting job yesterday, is that where you landed? I also saw a office by Wings on Sunday Crazy.

 

SITH__CHICK, I ended up at a different kidney dialysis place called Renal Ventures Management...a smaller company in the same field as DaVita. I hear their corporate culture is quite...interesting aka, cult like. Good luck!
