Hello. Long time listener first time caller. Thought I'd make my way over to the Denver boards and say "hi!". Grew up in Commerce City and currently live in Denver. Glad to meet you all and looking forward to sharing the new movie experience with everyone!
Thanks! Currently jobless and studying for a Japanese proficiency test in December... I'll start seriously job hunting after that.
Name: Bobby Age: 27 SW Related Interests: Costuming, roleplaying, EU, collecting Non-SW Related Interests: Costuming, video games, Magic the Gathering, comics (wow, I sound like quite the catch, don't I?) How did you get started on SW: It started way back in 1st grade. I found a Return of the Jedi book for kids and, like all kids with shiny objects, was completely enamored with the green lightsaber. Totally loved it. Of course, I didn't really read the book, just looked at the pictures. I didn't even see the movies until my aunt bought them for my birthday three years later. How did you find this board? I was searching for fanfilms back in '03, and discovered that this place had a forum. Since the MSN chatrooms had closed down (used to be heavily into roleplaying X-Men there), I was looking for new social sites, and decided to give it a try. Questionnaires are fun. Anyway, I'm Bobby, and I live in the Fort Collins area. I've never really joined a FanForce, though I was part of Saber Guild (previously LA Jedi) back when I lived in California.
Welcome Bobby, I live in Fort Collins to. I'm not around much, but I generally go to the meetings when I'm in town. If you wanna car pool , let me know. I also forget to use the boards but you can find me on facebook.
Awesome! I've never been to a meeting, and I'd love to attend one. Heck, I don't even know what goes on in one!
YAY! We'll have a thread up for the December meeting soon. The RMFF is also on Facebook and we post our meeting details there, too. I hope to see you!
Well, since DieWompRat runs them, you aren't missing much. I generally fall asleep. hehe jk. The meetings are great! Good way to meet people from the group and make friends, talk geek stuff and just be around a really great group of people. Search for the Rocky Mountain Fan Force on FB like FF said, you can look me up on there also. Live Long and Prosper. Oh, wait...wrong movies...
Done and done! I haven't had a good group of geek friends since my days in Saber Guild, when I lived in California.
