She's on display year round, with the cockpit opened up once a year on May the Fourth for lucky fans to have a seat in her! Our bird has been lovingly tended to by the X-Wing Project comprised of the Rocky Mountain Fanforce, local 501st, Rebel Legion and R2 builders. We certainly have not minded having the bird in our care, but we have to face it, her upkeep out of pocket has been getting expensive! That's right, the fans have been tending to her out of pocket without additional backing. The X-Wing Project members have paid for things like glue, paint, welding sticks, drape material, circuit boards, LEDs, wiring, motors, UV sealant spray, LCD screens, not to mention signage, displays and giveaways for the kids. Needless to say, this gets expensive! This is where you guys come in! We are doing a fundraising run for the X-Wing Project! This beautiful challenge coin has on one side the X-Wing Project logo and on the flip side features the wonderful RMFF Logo! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Each coin will be $10, this includes all fees, and domestic s/h with the proceeds going for much needed repairs on the X-Wing! BUT WAIT, there is MORE! These coins will be sequentially numbered! For those of you wanting to claim a specific numbered coin, it will be $15 per coin.The numbers are limited to 300 (the total for this limited run of coins).
