Sorry Void, the title of Purveyor of Literary Crack belongs to Robert Jordan, AKA the creator of the Wheel of Time series. I have not known anyone who had at least a remote interest in fantasy novels who had the ability to put it down once they began reading it.

    I'm all up for a competition :)

Pistol and rifle. 100 yards minimum pistol, 250 for rifle, both standing position. [face_devil] :D

And Mobius...Jordan is a manufacturer, I'm the purveyor. I actually bring the crack to my users. Some get their own from book stores, I specialize in catalogs, comics, and RPG books. The novels aren't a good investment for me.

    Edit:

Yeah yeah, whatever. Pistol, postol...keyboard misfire. :p

    Ok, so he's the Kingpin.

BTW, was the comment on "POSTOL" shooting purposeful? ;)

Well, if it was POSTAL shooting it would mean something else entirely ;)

I'm up for 250 yards, why don't we make it moving targets to make it a little interesting??? 30-30 with moving target across a canyon, up hill, through a thick forest with a cross breeze... ok ok, so either I am darn good or it was a really lucky shot...lol I'll give you even odds. Wishing I had gotten drawn for elk again this year... sigh.

Wow --it sounds like you all had fun. I would've loved to see Rob scaring all of the patrons. It makes me want to have armor that much more.

I'll get IA to send me targets and have them printed out at work...unless he has some new surprises.

Rock on!!! We'll do 100 yds minimum for the pistol and 250 yds for the rifle. I have a shooting place that can accomodate those specs. It's a cinder pit and very fun to shoot in!!! [face_devil]

If those targets are anywhere near as good as last time....it will ROCK!!!

I used to hunt deer, I moved on to hardend emplacements and buildings...but that's another story. Haven't done it in a while though. The occasional Jackrabbit too (You're safe Bunny). Got a ruger chambered for 7mm mauser that I use for deer.

Choad doesn't hunt, or at least has never been. Wanting someone to go elk and or deer hunting with next season. My nephew is moving back from FL in a month so there would be 2 exta slots on a tag... any takers?
Edit: or I sould say two extra slots on the applicatoin for hunt tags.

Hmmmmm...I'll have to start thinking about targets. Last time will be tough to top, but I'm sure we can come up with something just as good. [face_devil]

P.S. I'm sure I still have those images around somewhere. ;)

Next shooting competition in Flag, count me in! Sounds like fun. I'm so jealous I didn't get to go to Flag and meet you guys last weekend. It sounds like you had a blast. I look forward to the next PFF event. See ya. -Webb

I'll be there with an M-1, just for Wenchy. ;)

Hopefully, I'll have a pistol of my own by then, too.

    Unless you're a sadist yeah :)

Though I've seen 4 round clips and 6 round clips too at some gunshows.
