CT Rob Ager's Analysis Of The Luke-Vader Duel (TESB)

    I just discovered that Rob Ager -- AKA "Collative Learning" -- the guy behind those awesome Stanley Kubrick analysis videos (if you've not seen or heard of this guy before, you're missing out), has put together a neat analysis of the Carbon Freeze duel:



    While a bit basic and obvious in parts (talking of parts, it comes in two), it's generally up to his usual standard, containing a mix of interesting and important observations sure to bolster your appreciation of this classic SW movie.

    It's pretty cool, actually, that Ager claims not be a SW nut ("I don't consider myself to be a hardcore Star Wars fan in general"), but does have a lot of respect for TESB, and seems to effortlessly notice the kind of beautiful film construction that hardcores should easily be able to get behind. :)

    Maybe he'll never do one for the prequels, but this alone is worth your time and attention.
