Roch, NY Rochester Fandom Halloween Party

Set Details are:

When: Sunday, October 30th in the 1:30 pm to 5 pm
Where: Adams Street Recreation Center Game Room
What: come in costume and bring a snack/beverage/dessert to share
RSVP: by posting here with a headcount and what you're bringing to share.b

 

I will attend, just me unfortunatly. I have not found that cute wonderful available fan girl tbat I have been holding out for..... yeah right. My other friends won't come. I will be coming as Solo of course and with my famouse Taco Dip. Only thing I can make. Thanks for setting this up, should be a blast.

 

The Blums will all be there. Not sure what we're bring yet though...

Oh, btw - we have some neat prizes for the best costumes.

 

Just wanted to bump this one up a bit since it had fallen over to the 2nd page.

In addition to the costume contest and food we'll also have some Star Wars fan films playing in the background, some cool games to be played and of course music.

I am still coming with Cider instead and same old costume. I was going to try and do something different and not even SW but to much work and money. Someone should bring donuts. Are we going to try and do Star Wars pictionary? I can start listing answers and send them to someone if they want to make cards, just PM me.

 

I think for the SW Win, Lose or Draw/Pictionary type game we were just going to use the cards from the Trivial Pursuit - which we're bringing. So I think we're all set for that.

I would love to come, but I know that some friends of mine are also doing a party - I'm just not sure what day or when.

Where is the Adams Street Recreation Center???
Could you please post some directions, or at least an address for it, so that I can get a Mapquest view to it from my apt? (In the event that I can come.) Thank you!

The Adam's Street Rec Center is at 85 Adams Street in the Corn Hill district of downtown Rochester.

Thanks Darsolo and ltcomdrtom for organizing the party. And everyone that participated and helped. The real fun didn't begin until we started playing Pictionary. Next time Its SW only. No Trek or I will pull out some Godzilla topics to use. We are definitely doing this at the Syracuse Dinner party thing.
