Game Master Notice

Due to storyline purposes, Animal, the Stormtroopers / Scout Troopers with him, and the alien Imperial Officer (and the Larty) are all protected from death / injury / destruction at the current place in the game (I will notify everyone when this notice is lifted). The CompForce Troopers are free to kill / injure NPCs when engagement begins.

Any questions about it, just ask.

You'll have to avoid the lartie firing upon the 'Gamble then.

So, does that mean we cannot shoot at them, or that we can, but don't be surprised if they don't take damage, or our shots miss?
For instance, in Intervention, none of the Jod forces on Ord Pardron took damage when they tried to capture Sard; is this basically the same thing?

Game Master Notice (revised)

In light of information brought forth, the following is being changed accordingly to better reflect In-Character game play. As to the previous "Game Master Notice" on March 01st, 2014 at 4:01pm, the Stormtroopers and alien Imperial Officer must avoid death---not injury---if engaged against any IC or NPCs. Both the Larty and the CompForce Assault Troopers can be freely destroyed / killed or injured as a response to In-Character game mechanics.

This notice is only in effect for immediate responses surrounding In-Character game play involving these characters only. This notice will be lifted very soon and an announcement will be made of such action in the Rocketjock Eatery.

Seriously though, has occurred to me that Nurse Ulrike has been around lots of droids while working the Republic Mobile Surgical Units, so she should hopefully have learned some binary.

Don't worry JGG. What has made Intervention what it is today, is that we're family, since 2009. All of us. Including you now. We're a family, we watch out after each other, help each other, everything. We'll never leave you behind. If you need help, have a question, need a summary update over the last few posts because you couldn't read it all, just ask here in the Rocketjock! Someone will be along to help you out as soon as possible!

 

Wow, thanks Bravo - that's a nice post. It's evident to see how you all connect with each other and just bounce of each other effortlessly. Its great to see! I will certainly keep up and do my best as a newbie to hopefully continue for many years to come!

JGG, if you're ever feeling bad just ask me the story of how I started out, something Sith-I-5 fondly remembers, I'm sure.

Also, Bravo, I would like to ask if there's ever a situation where you don't want us to kill/injure someone off or something close to it ( ), that you add a disclaimer at the top or bottom of the post. (For example if the Caravel group ever meet the guys who are trying to capture us and they need to be alive for the story progression let us know so we don't just go guns blazing glory on their faces.)
