I will be getting to posts hopefully today. I worked 9 hours yesterday, finished a college paper (two more papers to finish today), then finished 3/4 of a remodel of my bathroom with a buddy of mine. My roommates stood there and watched and it's their bathroom too. Its not like I work 54 hour work weeks six days a week, take two college classes, etc, etc, etc. I very strongly dislike lazy people (i.e. my roommates). At least their buying the paint and the pizza...they did something. Although I bought the primer and paint brushes and beer...yes, beer is a must while remodeling a restroom. No beer, no remodel.

So...the Golf Tournament shut down an hour after I got there due to severe and dangerous weather conditions. grr.

 

I wondered why all I could find was some LPGA tournament in Canada somewhere.

 

Strangely, I have learned more about Alaska while in the Caribbean, than I ever have before. Been watching Alaska State Troopers a fly-on-the-wall fly-frozen-to-the-wall documentary series following, well, Alaska State Troopers, going about their patrols, investigating shot moose or bears. Apparently you cannot shoot a moose unless it has at least three little hornlets (I didn't catch the term) on the lower part of it's antlers.
Till now, I didn't know there were parts of the state with no snow.

13 troopers guarding some three day snowcat event with 10,000 attendees. Very interesting.

Query: there is a tv channel that I assume is US, called A&E. What does that mean? In Britain, the term is used for the Accident and Emergency part of hospitals, like your ER.

And yes, although I allude to it being Hoth, it is the largest state of USA and could technically be first and second largest if mountain and hill land curves are considered when split in half. So there is a lot of geographic diversity, even home to the only rain forest of north america, obviously not tropical rain forest, but still rain forest
