I now think I was unaware of an infected leg, and that my immune system got compromised on Tuesday, giving the infection a helping hand.

Can all friendlies hear all JB messages, or only the ones directed at them by name? Will Fluffy be able to 'hear' messages directed at the Fuzzy?.....frag. I got it, after all that; Fluffy opened a channel and DelPike used it to send new orders.

Question: I've been reading all these posts and I'm still not sure how to describe where the Blood Moon can land. Can we? If so, where? I wanna describe it accurately before I respond to the excellent post of greyjedi125 wherein Winterkill asks sensors, aka Evalynne, for information.

 

Probably from where the pirates shuttle left, or in the area that spawned all those Uglies.

Technically, the Blood Moon isn't landing. Its doing a Danger Close Fire Support Mission which is basically bringing artillery or air support almost on-top of friendly units because your position is being overrun. But hey, I'm just the GM. If you guys want to go in like Rambo, by all means.

 

Can't blame the guy from trying to do a bit more than he was asked. Some of the ppl trapped are the ones he looks up to the most, whether he admits it or not. As for landing, circumstances may dictate that he can't ( looks at GM ) We know how that goes. He will find out in-game if the Mercs can extract themselves or not. They are capable of stealing a pirate ship, but the designation would have to be altered, or they risk getting themselves getting vaporized. Fu, fun, fun!!

 

All their own ships are right there in the Hangar Bay, Grey.

 

The OOG plan for the raid was for players to go through the ship, creating their own areas and enemies, so I wasn't intending to GM the hangar layout beyond the direction Yav was forced to go in.

Layout, looking into hangar, as I'm aware of it: right to left

Pirate standing close to right bulkhead, few metres in from vacuum.

Far right wall, Taab's wrist rocket has damaged the wall, creating opening.

Several metres left, against back wall facing Blood Moon, is Taab's X-Wing.

Left of that, space where Katarn was parked.

Left of that, far wall, Speedy Trial.

Left of that, Yav's N-1.

Left of that, Jeth and Yav at their doorway with slowing air leak.

Not sure where Jeth's X-Wing landed.

Also, Uriel Manteroni , there is no enemy shuttle still in the hanger, it left just before you guys were sent there. So it would be behind you flying toward the JB if Bravo hasn't blasted to bits by now.

@Tim Battershell. Winterkill did not forget about Captain Dodd's armament briefing ( combat info is what he breathes), however, I don't recall if Aidan said that the Ion cannons and the light turbo laser were fire linked and could NOT be fired independently. Winterkill is new to this Skipray's customized/ upgraded systems. His intention is to fire ION ONLY. If that's not possible, then there's lots of OOOPS! about to go down!!! ROTFLMBO!!! ( Oh, my...I just visualized all that could go wrong now, this is going to be soooooo interesting to see unfold )
