Why the frag do you have to be at work by 0615?

Only time I ever started that early, was as a shift-working computer operator.

School Age Director job. Its before school (classes start at 8am) and after school (classes end at 3pm) until 6pm. The drives are actually peaceful at 5:30am, gives you time to think. And time moved forward to 6am starting Monday, at my request (although kids don't show up until 6:30am; gives me time to set up, etc).

Whatever age, I have never been a morning person, so its an alien concept that children would start reaching school by 06:30!

But now that I know they are getting there that early, it makes sense the time that you get there.

Sith, I am interested for your response to the Bonds/Tora/Zat batter back and forth, especially the end regarding droid pleasure shops. :p

Well, I wouldn't have had Bonds refer to himself as an inhabitant of an Earth continent, eg. "Asian".

Bonds has had a complete personality shift from the cool, brave guy that Master Zat discovered on Nar Shaadah(sp?)

Is there anything else I should know about the Bantha-class ship?

And what about Owen's and Uriel's ships?

The Bantha-class has been destroyed (read Sith's last post). Everyone on the Blood Moon has only that one ship, at least until we recover their own ships from other planets, etc.

    Okay. Just making sure. :D

EDIT: That was a Katarn-class shuttle that blew (I just went and checked). The Bantha-class seems to be the Alliance guys? If I'm remembering everything correctly. I just want to have the details right before posting...

Oh yes, you are right! The Bathan-class is friendly, providing CAP escort to the Johnny Boy at the moment.

Bantha-class is SGIS. Secret Galactic Intelligence Service. Survivors and descendants of Galactic Republic-era security agency.

Allied with the Rebel Alliance, but not the Rebel Alliance.

    Aha. Thank you.

It's okay, I had to look up what CAP stood for yesterday.

EDIT: And then I noticed that Winterkill was talking to Aidan, so...

@Mitth_Fisto. Nah, didn't comm myself. He was identifying himself as the speaker, as in "Hey, Snake, Specter here". Not as in listing the folks he was addressing ( "Hey, Snake and Specter ). I'm not that sleepy yet. :p Oh well. That's what I get for emulating another player. Will do better next time.

Ya know, I find these technical arguments, as the one between Grey and Mitth, of our nature as nerds/geeks. The first I was doing today, after watching the Star Wars Force Awakens trailer provided by Grey to me over FB Messenger (and then a few more times after that for good measure), was asking the technical question,

"Who cares about the longsword lightsaber. It looks awesome, it may be a bit clumsy to handle, so what. What the heck are TIE Fighters doing in the trailer??? You can explain off X-Wings as XJ-3 X-Wings from the Yuuzhan Vong Invasion in 25 ABY if you to choose to dip out of Legends here and there for things, like ships, etc. But TIE Fighters in 30 ABY? That's a bit far fetched, considering we had the newer TIE Interceptors in Return of the Jedi, and that's not Legends."

Any takers on my maddening geek thought process? Like seriously, I can't be the only one who thought of this, right?

    No

But a backwater using cheep outdated ships is possible.

Droid was a structural nightmare on there. No way it could compete in a Nuna bowl competition.

Lightsaber shows death wish. I can think of three ways to make the weilder die on his own weapon. Considering split blades with the twenty to forty-five angles already have been illustrated, this seems a foolish design.

The lightsaber is mostly for fan service and 'oohs and aaaahs'. I've seen it used in these boards RPs and fan fiction several times. I certainly found myself saying 'ooooohhhhh!' as soon as I saw it.

As for the TIE Fighters, my guess is that there ARE newer models, they just won't show them in the 'teaser trailer'. I mean, if you upgrade stormtrooper armor, it stands to reason ALL things Imperial received an upgrade, including but not limited to; TIE fighters, ISDs, etc. [face_praying]

I've watched the video about 30 times by now and cannot get enough! I LOVE STAR WARS!! Bring on the AWAKENING!!!!!!!!!! [face_dancing]

Not seen trailer yet. Amount of TIE fighters built, a good number will still be around. Star Wars, mainly EU, seems to have LOTS of craft around in contemporary times that have been around since, Galactic Republic, Clone Wars, and previous eras.

Once you design or discover a ship-building material that does not rust or otherwise breakdown, basically the frakker built with it is still around.

    Test: 070
