Thank you, Spycoder. I caught Aurora's CS on our Wiki; and I know she's in an X-Wing. Just need to know her callsign, and if she already has an Artoo unit.

CPL, you know I answered your tag on the 21st, right?

That Actualise Station is a great image to demonstrate the Jod equivalent.

the city I live in has just issued a tropical cyclone warning for tonight. A portion of sandy is reaching inland and we're expecting damaging winds and flooding. Possible power outages. The city is telling everyone to make final preps today. Expecting everything to happen tonight.

This is the first time ever a hurricane has reached this far inland at this strentgh, it's not heard of until now.

So I have my fingers crossed it won't get too bad but I do plan on going to the store and making an emergency kit. I used to have an emergency 72 hour kit but had to never keep it up to date because we are fortunate for the most part. Ummmm regretting that decision now.

    This is completely unexpected.

Falcon, I hope all works out. We'll be waiting for you here. Take care of what you need to take care of down there first. We'll be here when you get back. God Bless. :)

Thanks Sith. And yes, the call-signs do look correct,

Tonight is a homework night. After class tomorrow night, I'll be able to post. Just FYI.

On a game note, I am really excited everyone! :D I have a surprise post with Darth Vader in the works to come out this week, which will send everyone's minds twisting around in shock (I hope :p) for his storyline for game two, which ties into TESB. And, I have a shocker in with Actualize Station, which will give many reasons as to why the Kingdom of Jod has stayed strangely middle ages-like in the modern Star Wars universe. And no, the answer isn't just tradition or just to prevent civil wars either...

The answer will shock you. :D

Can someone do my homework? All this OOG posting has made me want to post these posts now and not my college homework.

Wait out and pray. You have my prayers on this end. As does Greyjedi125, who lives in that general area too.

Just talked to GreyJedi125 over the phone. He's okay, but without power. He says when you look out the window, all the buildings are dark.

Everyone who might be affected by Hurricane Sandy has my prayers - including my Mum who chose to holiday in the Caribbean about the time Sandy popped up down there; relatives in New York and New Jersey; former Moons of Yavin personnel and their families, plus any of you in Canada, or whatever areas affected.
Also, I understand Canada had an earthquake in the last week?

And following Falcon's news above, the idea of a 72-hour kit, or an emergency kit has impinged very slightly on my radar.

Is Actualise Station creating a temporal field? Or a time dilation field? You don't have to answer here, Bravo.

British Columbia had an earthquake Sunday, 7.7 on the scale.

At the moment, where I live we just have tremors but I'm no where near the earthquake area but I do have some family out that way.

Sith, I see your question. I've only ever defined The Kingdom of Jod's home world (Planet of Jod) as having a temporal field or time dilation field. I would say that, for fair game play and to avoid god-moding, that no, Actualize Station does not have a temporal field or other time affects that the Planet of Jod has. Your question has prompted me to be able to expand the over throw of the King and Queen storyline that much more, so excellent question. :)

For the post I am typing up now, here is some background information on the character from a earlier post below:

    [QUOTE]Qui-Gon_Jinn_Ghost, posted 11/8/10 2:37pm;

IC: Lead Scientist Van Halfin the Third
Project A Test Cells, Project Zero Construction Site, Imperial Research Center, location classified

Van Halfin the Third was an old man and he knew it, since he felt it everyday. His gray hair hung to his shoulders, while his blue eyes were sunken back into his skull. His facial bones showed through the thin skin of his face. Being 84 years old, Van was just happy to still be walking. It was true that the 5'10 human male couldn't walk without his cane, he would simply fall over if not for a nearby wall. But no dare test that knowledge, least they want to be shot with Van's hold-out blaster pistol under his white lab coat. Van was in remarkably good shape for a man his age; he still did everything on his own. A course, a few organs had been cloned over the years, but other then that, he was the original Van Halfin the Third born 84 years ago on Coruscant to a father who worked for the Old Republic government as a scientist and a mother who was a medical doctor. His father's research had inspired Van to become what he was today.

Van smiled sickly at that thought. His father had been a good man and if he saw Van today, he might very well be displeased with his son's attempt to twist his honest research.

Well, whatever paid the bills, right? Well, not quite, Van thought with that same sickly smile. He had plenty of credits to his name. No, it was about the legacy. His father's legacy was destroyed by his honest work; Van had worked his whole life to restore his family's good name. And he had succeed, although maybe the "good" title could be replaced with something less then honorable. It didn't matter anymore. Van's research had both saved and killed millions. The projects he had lost count of, they're purposes equally so. All that mattered was the legacy. If history remembered him as a saint or as a mass murderer, it didn't matter. Van truly enjoyed his work.

As he walked down the long corridor leading to the Project A Test Cells, his cane made an added echo on the flooring. With security tight, two Imperial Navy Troopers flanked him on either side as they escorted him. While the construction sight itself was secure, it was what the construction site contained that was the threat.

While Van's young assistance was right in that the last batch of were known as Beast Soldiers were recently vaporized by the turbolaser cannons, the young assistance didn't know about the Project A Test Cells either. A course it was labeled on the holo maps, but Van's young assistance was not granted access to this very classified part of the space station.

Van came to the first cell on the left, which was guarded by a energy field. He looked at his creation on the inside.

It was the typical Beast Soldier: sweaty rubbery black skin, some clothing that covered the waist to the knees, and five fingers ending with white sharp retractable claws. The claws had been recorded to be strong enough to cut through blaster armor (although not Stormtrooper armor, at least not without some effort). Thinned out black hair covered the top of the beast's head with solid red eyes and two massive white canine teeth coming of of each side of his mouth and pointing upwards towards the top of it's head and resting just under the edge of the nose. The inside of the monster's mouth was full of razor sharp teeth.

A course, for it to be his creation, some modifications had to take place. This Beast Soldier, listed above his cell as Project A-10-C, was the 10th experiment in the third (or "C") batch. Each batch had roughly ten or more test subjects. Project A-1O-C was the first successful modification.

A POW from the Galactic Civil War had been combined with a beast. Now, an additional human head came from the large neck, with the beast's head next to it. Combining beast and a human male together turned out a monster that was just as strong as the original, but now had the intelligence to think beyond basic survival instincts. The experiment could think on it's own.

Van watched as the beast and tormented human growled and screamed in union.

Yes, Van concluded, he enjoyed his work.

Now, the trick was how to reproduce these sick monsters so the Empire could have a military force to utilize in "special circumstances". If the Imperial government wanted to complain about feeding and taking care of POWs, as well as providing security for the POWs, well then Van had found a solution. POWs could now become useful to the Empire's war efforts.

But before reproducing this sick marvel in unchecked research and development, Van had to find a way t control his creation. The beast by itself was too primitive in it's basic nature to control, too wild, too violent, especially around the Red Rock. But the human mind, now that's where Van could make some progress. If he could find a way to control the beast's mind through medicine or other resources, then it would only be a matter of time before the human mind collapsed into his will.
