Comes in. Takes a cold can of Old Jamaica Ginger Beer out of the fridge.

    Thanks, Kommando, a mystery solved.

OOC: *callsign and backstory inspired by the actual Cochise, an Apache warrior and resistance leader in the Southwestern US in the 1860s and 1870s

Mel Gibson's character in the Lethal Weapon movie franchise used to call Danny Glover's character that, sometimes, and I never knew what it was, the nearest I could phonetically get was "cold cheese."

Just letting everyone know I will have a Taab and Atin post done by Monday. I had planned on it for tomorrow but forgot it was Father's day so I doubt it will get done by then.

Was hoping to get a post up tonight but my parents' internet just crashed... the earliest I'll be able to post is Tuesday.

What a crazy vacation this has been....

OK as promised my post is in. Quick note on it, I wasn't ignoring where the Luck's Gamble tried to contact Taab, but his comms were out. I considered having the damage limited to just a "bad transmitter" and he was still able to receive, but I liked this way better. He still got to where he needed to be. :p

Also I was operating under the assumption that the timing of my post was prior to anyone knowing about the "orbital situation" and the arrival of the Imperial task force. I am sure the Port Haven team will be made aware of that soon. :p

Alright, I know I have been a bit AWOL and I believe I should share this openly here, I took my boards, failed by two points, am looking for a job, planning on moving in a month, volunteering to keep up the skill set and add time to my experience quota, and whenever I have come on here I have had the worst case of writers block. Bravo feel free to move my characters as needed and I may need to step back a little my involvement and let you know I will be out of touch for a couple weeks when I do move as it will be across continent by truck. Any questions feel free to ask and I will try to work through the writers block and post some before I go off the deep end for a bit, but don't want to hold anything up.

As long as you did your best, that's what counts.

So, you planning on moving somewhere warmer?

Okay, done deal! Assume a interdictor is added to the fleet assets over Port Haven. I will deploy them accordingly ASAP.

Mitth_Fisto, can you retake your boards buddy?

And what Sith said is right, what matters is you did your best.

And to everyone, I am sorry for my AWOL this weekend. Between three college papers, Renaissance Festival, and Coffee coming home, my mind was in a thousand different places this weekend. I am catching up now. :)

For future reference, if I am ever delaying the advancement of the game, any staff member (Coffee, Mitth, Sith, CPL) has permission to move any of my characters as needed and respond to tags for me.

A old post from 2009, but the best description I have of the Coruscant Aces, save a few other posts I am unable to locate at this time.

    GAME MASTER OOG:

I found a mistake in my Imperial fleet starfighter ranges; I'm fixing it here below. The Vindicator-class heavy cruisers will show a slightly different outline of troops and please be aware that additional Imperial forces may be arriving in the near future over Port Haven---I haven't finalized that part of the storyline in my mind yet.

With the Imperial fleet changes, the Vindicator-class heavy cruisers have essentially been transformed into Imperial Army transports and mobile support platforms for the Imperial Army forces planet-side with the ability to do a limited range of everything. The Escort Carriers, on the other hand, provide the real starfighter muscle for the Imperial fleet. I had forgot to add Imperial drop ships and shuttles for the transport of troops from space to surface (unless I wanted to land the heavy cruisers planet side) and Mara Jade would never leave anything to chance, so a small ocean force (minus the Imperial Sea Troopers; the Imperial Army Troopers would assume the sea combat role in the meantime) would provide the Empire with a modest sea patrol fleet with landing capabilities. I removed much of the starfighter and scout compliments of the 3 heavy cruisers to make room for additional shuttles and ocean vehicles.

I will be role playing Mara Jade in a critical way to Imperial forces (I'm working on a college paper right now, need to take a break) here soon, so please be aware that there are certain circumstances as to why Mara Jade was sent to Port Haven, Jason Lasso being only a drop in the bucket of those reasons. Originally back in 2009, I had intended Port Haven to be a simple home port for the Mercs, a footnote in the game. But, with awesome additions from players and staff over the years, the little Shadowport has grown on me and the players it has seemed. And so, I've been slowly expanding the Port Haven storyline here and there, and will be expanding it dramatically in the coming days. To say the least folks, this isn't going to be a little stop-over before the final mission like I had originally planned. If we're going to end this game and start a second game---I finally got over mentally the deadline issue I had to start the second game when we turned 4 years old on June 11, 2013 [face_party]---lets do it Intervention fashion: with a statement!

Opps...did I forget that Sith? I'll add her in! :) I was rushing between papers last night buddy, sorry. I was doing a 3 day project in 4 hours last night. I know, stupid, but I know college academics and know what I can and can't do. It wasn't the smartest thing I've ever done, but in a bind, it worked.

Great post, Bravo. Nice intrigue with the crews aboard the Gladiator; I was sort of fooled into believing it was going to be a typical Imperial officers scraping to the mercs feted by Investigator Soal, then you had them turn the tables to establish just who was in charge. Nice.

For a moment, as the struggling woman was brought in, I thought it was Havah's sister, but no.

As for Commodore Norris, he, his crews and ships; they are your fleet, Bravo. Just because I introduced them to cover for your RL diversions, doesn't make them "mine". I jump in and out as needed with them.

Okay, post I am working on now; Cimmerian has informed the ground lieutenant of Jade's signal, and while they are prepping their own pickup, asked if ground forces can get someone to her first, to do it.
