Rogue One tickets

Have my tickets for Saturday afternoon, only time that weekend I can go.

What did you think of TFA?

 

As a science fiction movie, it was funny and cute. It was fun. But, as Star Wars, I hated it. I thought it was a tiring rehash of ANH and I thought that J.J. Abrams put his own spin on Star Wars and I really resent that. Besides, I thought it should have ended with ROTJ, anyway, so...I was never happy with it being extended.

I don't mean to be so pessimistic, but I really didn't appreciate Disney's influence.

 

The 2 Imax showings opening night at my local amc are sold out. Wow!

 

I couldn't get an IMAX ticket Thursday night either. 2D it is! Gives me an excuse to at least see it one more time

 

U need a reason to see it twice?

 

Well, a justifiable pretense (even though I saw TFA five times)

 

Regular D the first time, might go for the 3D experience the second or third time.

 

Have tickets for Thursday night at 7pm then a Sunday morning matinee at my local Alamo Drafthouse so I can get this awesome pint glass. I have all of next week off from work, so if I love it as much as I hope I will, I'll probably go a couple of more times then.

I have tickets right now for 7 pm Thursday and then again Friday evening. Depending on how appropriate it is for kids, my daughter may be accompanying me on Saturday as well.
