    The OP has a point. Talking to my wife the other day about Rogue One and she isn't so keen to see it. In her words 'It's not even about Star Wars'. Now like me your probably all going WTF !!! But it just shows that there must be an awful lot of non fans out there who would go along and see one of the episodic movies but for some reason think R1 is nothing to do with the SW universe and timeline we all know.

    If it had been posted by someone new to TFN, i'd have written this off as trolling. However reading the OP's thorough view of why R1 will fail I think they believe in their argument however misguided it may be.
