Rogue Squadron Character questions : Other Trades

Hobbie, Ooryl and Lyyr Zatoq (Quarren):

If you had to give any of these characters a trade that he knows equally well as flying (like Wes and his sharp shooting/quick draw) what would it be?

I think I read them somewhere, but I'm not as up to date on my wonderful Rogue Squadron trivia.

Any suggestions, or if anyone really knows the answer, I'd be much obliged!

 

Hobbie: crashing. Ooryl... well, killing tings generally. He causes one of the goriest deaths in the series- punches a hole in a stormie's head. But... well, Findsmanning. Finding the right time for things.

 

*laughs* Is Hobbie good at anything but crashing? lol!

Ok, so Ooryl is the planner, like a strategist (I think I spelled that wrong ;p)

Anyone have any idea on the Quarren?

 

Planning... hmmn... not so much planning, as intuition. From what I read about Zuckuss, Findsmen can sort of deduce where people will be and where an, more importantly when they have to be to do what they need to.

And Quarren? Do you mean Nrin Vakil?

 

I think Hobbie would make an excellent spokesperson for bacta, but for some reason the fallback career I see him in is like a late night talkshow host. With his wry sense of humour and doleful face, he'd be a wonderful sarcastic anchor, along the lines of Dennis Miller or Jon Stewart.

Nrin fell in love with a Mon Calamari in the comix, didn't he? In that case he'd make a great ambassador for the Quarren, teaching them how to get along with the other race they share Calamari with.

(Damn, now I'm hungry for seafood... anyone wanna go for sushi with me?)

The Quarren I'm speaking about is Lyyr Zatoq from the X-Wing series.

I don't know much about him, other than he can probably wield a blaster.
