It's a pseudo 3D thing in the style of Zaxxon. And it's not much fun, not much fun at all...

 

Actually, i loved it.

Honestly, it's a mixed bag.

 

Is it just me, or is the voice of Leia on the Escape from Bespin mission absolutely nothing like Carrie Fisher, at any point in her life, let alone circa ESB?

You would think there are female fans out there who could do a much better Liea than the actress they got. Plus, the precedent has been set with Mark Hamil... maybe Lucasarts can start bringing the original film stars to voice their characters. The only one that probably wouldn't would be Harrison Ford.

 

I dunno, i haven't seen him in anything lately...

If you close your eyes and listen closely, the Carrie Fisher they have sounds vaguely like when Carrie Fisher is talking really loudly. So the actress screamed her lines. Go figure. I agree that she's rubbish though.

Mark Hamill would do his if he didn't mind being associated with SW.

 

I just remember first playing the "Escape from Hoth" level what a total bitch Leia was being! I mean I was doing my best as Han to get her out of there and she was like "I thought you were going to find a way out of here!". Nag, nag, nag!

People may remember me posting how hard I found the bit at the end of the Trials of the Jedi where I had to raise the X-Wing. Well, I solved the problem. I realised that the clunky Logic 3 Gamepad I have is a turbo fire pad.

Turbo fire is my ally, and a powerful ally it is

 

Whey. Glad you solved that, and for all those others struggling with that section, you should check that out.

Sadly the port one on my Gamecube is knackered, and makes the joystick on the controllers go all weird and in different directions on me.

Anyone know the code to get the esb arcade game in the PAL version?

 

Not sure it's been released yet. If it's any consolation (which it obviously isn't ) you can get it by completing the Triumph of the Rebellion mission.

And yeah, it makes me wanna cry

I did the jumping/shooting the ing for Rebel Endurance and got a gold. stupid mission. where's my regular Endurance.

On the Rebel Endurance, I scored a gold by putting turbo on my A button and holding it down. They should have made it to where you use the lightsaber instead. More of a possibility of getting hurt.

 

Or they should have done it in the hanger, with different craft available.

 

I have just enough points to open a level, which one should I open. Escape from Hoth or Flight from Bespin.

 

I'd take the Hoth level. Leia's voice is so annoying, and you'll get sick of it in the Bespin level.

No I don't think so.The problem is the game doesn't deserve to be in the RS series. Why? Because the games terrible on foot missions. More of the game is On foot or ground missions than the Flying missions. In the end the missions are way too short. Only three of them you actually get to choose your ship. 3 out of 13. It was a big let down. Get RS II if you don't have it yet way better then the step back RSIII
