I found the ROTJ arcade code. It wasn't easy though.
The code is:11517812- !FOOLS!?
Has anyone aced all the missions in single player yet?
I can't beat Triumph of the Rebellion in ace mode. There are like twice as many walkers, and all the stormtroopers now have rapid fire blasters.
You can ace the missions with ace mode off. But
otherwise I haven't really played it in ace mode; I still
aced the missions though. But when on-foot try
the hop method, useful for acing Rebel Endurance.
This question was probably already addresed, but I hvent had a chance to read all 81 pages.
In the Bakura level of Rouge Squadron III: Rebel Strike, there is a branch of the level where you jump into a TIE Bomber and fly over the surface to pick up Hobbie, because his X-wing crashed.
I've been to this part a few times, but I cant figure out how to consistantlyget to it instead of the Escort Frigate just jumping into system. I've even tried shooting my wingmates down in order to acheive this. Could someone please clarify this for me?
Youhave to kill enough enemies to qualify for a silver medal... then that part of the level will be played instead of the regular ending.
Try ordering your wingmen to take out the station's guns for a start. That'll give you more TIEs to shoot down, and as long as you're fairly accurate with your shots, you'll end up with the TIE Bomber section.
And when in the TIE Bombing Section if you want to have this bomber to yourself. As you fly through the canyon aim for the GROUND turrets and target them, and destroy each group with one volley of missiles. The
volley must be precise; the missiles need to be at most a half second or less from hitting the turrets. If done right, each time a teammate will comment you. Continue this pattern correctly with the rest of the other groups of ground turrets and you will get a special quote like "May the force be with You!" or "Unstoppable!." If you hear quotes like this you will have unlocked the TIE bomber.
Did anyone else notice that Lando is the man? On this page alone, there are 7, whereas there are only 2 Pellaeons and a Vader otherwise?
"We've got to BUY more time!"
Yeah, Lando's the man here. I'm trying to not only dominate this page with Lando's but try to achieve a star the next time they decide to show how many posts someone has.
Also, word is on the net-Factor 5 has declared they will not make anymore games for the GCN console. They are waiting for the next generation console. It would be tragic to wait another 5 years just to see Thornado appear on a new Nintendo console. I hope they at least release Thornado for GCN before they decide to pull the plug.
I tell you, they can't do this to a brother!
Maybe Factor 5 are doing with Thornado the same thing Rare did with Dinosaur Planet, moving it from N64 to cube and makie it Fox McCloud. But in this case GCN to Next Generation System
Who loves shooting a apc while the door is open adn the guys are inside it but almost out and than you blow it up. You can see them die in the explosion. Oh yeah...
in the Ralltir AT-ST level, I took out Starkly's get away transport Also at the end of the level, there is a JK Statue
That might be a clue to what F5 will do in the future. They make a Jedi Knight-style game that makes on-foot more fun! Only with better performance since it will appear on the NGC or next generation console. Sounds cool huh?
Also speaking of APC's...wouldn't it be cool if you could destroy one with a thermal detonator alone?
I hate how they use thermal detonators as grenades in all these games. The Shadows of the Empire novel sure made it sound like thermal detonators could take several stories of a building in one blast. But in the games they only have like a 6 foot blast radius.
A real life grenade would do more damage with all the shrapnel it makes.
Especially if you're referring to Xizors Palace. Now, that was where some serious damage took place with the use of them.
Does anyone know where you will hear the Imperial Takeover track in the game? I can't seem to find the mission that plays it.
There are different types of thermal detanators. The one you use in game is normal detanator. The one in shadows of empire is a class-a fusion thermal detonater.
Are you talking about Shadows of the Empire for PC? Cause
in the N64 version you can only carry shooting weapons. No grenades or anything like that. However you can shoot this really powerful green beam which spreads out on impact. It's called the Disruptor. (which BTW is a bit confusing cause in JO the disruptor gun just disintegrates stuff.)
Novel, mate. SOTE was a novel first, then they made a game out of it.
The novel was where it all started. A great read too.
I wouldn't mind a remake of the game, but wheres the chance of that happening?
Star Wars Rouge SquadronIV: Finding Dash
>> Novel, mate. SOTE was a novel first, then they made a game out of it. <<
Actually, no, they developed the game, novel and comic at the same time, since each format was meant to tell part of the whole story.
Gee,... thanks Lt. Cmdr. Thrawn
Any way has anyone actually completed to co-op version
Rouge Leader yet?
