It's Assault on Kile II, when Wedge and his wingmate are ambushed by all of this TIE Interceptors and he crashes, only to be taken to Kessel, then rescued, causing you to have to do ANOTHER mission on Kessel and having to escort and incompetant (SP?) shuttle of commandos.

I think there's an X-wing comic book with it's main battle on Mos Eisley, wierd no?

Calamari is in the Dark Empire comics.

I got all my Golds playing the game legit. I did try using one cheat to beat "Rescue On Kessel"(IAMDOLLY infinite lives) I got gold. I thought I turned off the cheat but then I went to the passcode screen and the cheat was still on.
I didn't use cheats on any other levels and I only used one cheat(the IAMDOLLY cheat) on "Rescue On Kessel". You can't get gold on "Rescue On Kessel" if you die more than 2 times even with cheat codes. Given these facts I beat the game legit.
(I had a strategy guide though)

Moff Seerdon's Revenge took me the longest.

The only reason I got gold on Fest was because the AT-PTs were actually shooting at things! I had no clue that they did that until they blew up a few things!

I got the golds legitimately. And on N64 too.

    "like shooting Y-wings do ya?"

Oh, and another fun thing to do is this.

In the fifth level(the one where you guard Y-wings disabling yachts), deliberately crash right before the Y-wings disable all the yachts in the first area and the cut scene with Wedge and the 128th T/I squadron.

If you do it right, while the camera is still looking at where you crashed, you'll hear Wedge warn you about the 128th T/I squadron. Then it will switch to the view of Wedge flying above the ocean with 2 T/Is following him. Inexplicably, they will burst into flames and crash. One of those pointless glitches in the game that's fun to watch.

That's Kile II Spaceport, Wedge, when he gets strafed, followed promptly by "Arg.. I just lost Rogue Nine.." right? :)

Yep. Now how about this quote.

"I need to paint some tie fighters on my fuselage."

No, the "Arg, like shooting Y-Wings" is Gold Leader on Gerrard 5.

And the TIE fuselage line is Luke on Balmorra.

Actually I was talking about a previous quote and I forgot about the one made by ElfStar on this page.

    "We'll take out the convoy."

Sullust is actually the hardest. Fest is really easy.

Hardest level using the default craft? Sullust. Hardest level overall? Thyferra.

Thyferra's really easy, as long as you don't accidentally shoot the friendly bacta tanks.

But getting Gold on Thyferra was hard. Seerdon's shuttle destroys bacta tanks ruining your friendly saves after you thought all you had to worry about was destroying Seerdon.

Sullust is by far the hardest. The rest of the missions are easy to get gold on. Sullust took me the longest.

Something cool happened while I was replaying Taloraan today. I died in the game, then when I came back to life I reappeared right infront of an oncoming tie fighter. A head on collision. I actually saw the cockpit of the other fighter a split second before the impact, then the explosion filled the entire screen on the chase view. And I didn't even get a scratch.

Cool, I guess. No one seems to be posting here anymore. Okay lets vote on it. What is the hardest mission to get gold on in the game? I say Sullust.

Yeah, in my opinion it's definitely Sullust. Though I thought Thyferra was hard. Though after I got gold on it, it seemed to get easier. I noticed some people thought Fest was the hardest. Fest is easy! I could go get gold on Fest right now without even trying!

Well if dying is your problem then I guess you could resort to using the cheat for infinite lives. If you have it for the N64 then the cheat is IGIVEUP and if you have it for the PC I have no clue what the cheat is.
