I have a question pertaining to the health of the original crew of Rogue Squadron.
    Which originals are still alive?
Im gonna skip ahead to CoPL after the next book after Wedge's Gamble. So i wanna know who dies just in case i dont go back to the series.
(Im borrowing them from someone and im leaving in July or even May).

I recommend you read wraith squadron before COPL, since wraith squadron occurs right before COPL, and COPL finishes up the story.

    Yes, to Valiento you listen.

Wow, I wish we had the luxury of reading the Wraith books before CoPL ! ;)

Know what I just realized? Nawara gets hurt in every one of the first 4 X-wing books:

Rogue Squadron: He gets shot out of his X-wing.
Wedge's Gamble: Comes down with the Krytos virus.
The Krytos Trap: Gets shot by Diric
The Bacta War: Gets shot out of his X-wing again, this time losing a leg.

    Man, that Twi'lek is tough!

Kasan Moor (who DOES fly at Hoth in the RS game) is presumed alive, lost in the EU void.

And of course Dash Rendar, who also flew as a rogue at Hoth is still alive!

Yes, Bror Jace is still alive (unless he died in some scene I skipped over in NJO) and was working with the Thyferran millitary.

I thought Dash died at the end of SotE, but I read that years and years and years ago, so I don't remember it very well.

A good rule of thumb for the X-wing books: If they're still alive after book 2, they don't die (with exception to one pilot who didn't play that much of a role in the story, and Iella's first husband).

Does anyone know what happened to Pash Cracken? I know he was leading an A-wing squadron at the end of the Bacta War and through TTT. I lost site of him after that.

    LOL!

Corran gets all the luck, Nawara gets nothing but misfortune :)

I did'nt think Bor died in TBW (my favorite X-Wing book).

I have no idea what happened to Pash, and that is a really good question. He's probably retired now though.

Pash is married (I don't know to who), and has at least two children. I extrapolated this from a quote from one of the NJO books, in which Han refers to "Cracken's grandkids." Read from that what you will.

Bror Jace is still alive, AFAIK.

Actually ReaperFett, Nawara is pretty fortunate. For a couple of reasons.

    1) Still alive
    2) Hitting it with Rhysati
    3) Wins Tycho's case
    4) Gets to hang out with the Rogue boys without having to worry about getting blown up

As opposed to Riv Shiel :

    1) was in a few X-wing books
    2) didn't have much to say
    3) blew up

At least Riv didn't get Vongified.

in the first and second x-wing books, it says that Jace is dead. He was intersepted by the interdictor and was jumped by ties on his way back to Thyferra (sp)
i dont know if anytihng else happens to him in later books that would make that an invalid statement, but thats what was said at the end of Rogue Squadron and in the beggining of Wedge's gamble.

That's why you need to read the whole X-wing series. ;) He's really not dead.

Wait, Valiento, you should have told him to read both Wraith Squadron and Solo Command as one of the Rogues who returns in Wraith Squadron dies in Solo Command. Plus Solo Command is a good set-up for CoPL.

    he survived?
how? and in what book does it say that?
id like to read the whole series but it would take too much of my time up trying to read all 7, or however many there are, in that time line.
Any way... yeah. I just want to get into the timeline where actuall stuff other than star fights are. I want to read about the jedi and all the new solo and skywalker kids.

If i'm not mistaken it was in The Bacta War that Bor came back. When I get time in the summer, i'm going to re-read the entire X-Wing series since it is my favorite series and all.

Bror faked his own death. If you read the Bacta War, you can find out what he's been up to. He shows up when Corran gets shot in a bar.
