Thanks KR. Yeah, me being from a traditional Irish family, I had BETTER have the Quiet Man in the top ten. ;) Actually, it is one of my all times faves.

And unlike most of you "gonads," I have some class. :p LOL j/k

Dead, I am shocked at you  no Army of Darkness on the list!!?? what's up with that!!??

    EDIT:

    KUDOS LIST: O Brother
    The Searchers

I have serious trouble making those kinds of lists...I could do a top 100 and still have runner ups.

I tried to pick the movies I watch most and then throw in a few that I love but are just not everyday watchable like All quiet...brillant movie (the Dvd put out a few years ago is great to watch all remastered and added scenes)but it's tough to watch all the time, kinda like Das Boot or Hotel Rowanda.

A few more runners up for fun:

    Black Hawk Down

    Freaked

    Terminator 1-3

The life and times of Judge Roy Bean (a classic!!)

Darby O gill and the little people (I know thats an odd one)

    The Nightmare before X-mas

    Deadmen don't wear plaid.

    Young Frankenstein

    The Thin Man movies

    Dragonslayer

    Big Fish

    Aliens (alien 2)

    Das Boot

(see what I mean...I could go on and on)

There are some movies on these lists that I can't stand, that i think are terrible, but there are others that are reminding me ones that should have been on my list (if I had space for 100)

    Equilibrium
    Harrison Bergeron
    Rope
    Arsenic and Old Lace
    Roman Holiday
    Airplane!
    All of Me
    Lawrence of Arabia
    Usual Suspects
    LA Confidential
