I'm nearly twice the man you saw last June, Steve Literally!
Wearing the Jedi robes on a regular basis will take care of that!
I'm nearly twice the man you saw last June.
My God...has it seriously been that long? I gotta get out more.
"I'm out of it for awhile, and everyone gets delusions of grandeur."
Yep, it has been that long. No delusions of grandeur here... I've just been eating your portion of the food at our get-togethers!
Me, too! And we have an 'ice cream festival' coming up...
I didn't get any ice cream at all last year. The lines were too long. Maybe I will lose some weight this year.
It was at least a year or two before I finally got ice cream...
Ya just have to keep an eye out for a short line!
I don't need any ice cream. But, I will be found at the Twinkie Booth! Mmmm...love dem twinks!
One year I got to take home about 4 or 5 bottles of sundae toppings and a gallon of ice cream. Mmmmm....sometimes it pays to work late there!
You might oughtta rephrase your last post. "Twinks" are something else completely.
"Tell him about the Twinkie..."
"What about the Twinkie..?"
Lin!! You're only supposed to use ONE of those lines so I can do the other one!! You've earned tape in your hair!
Tim, whaddya mean?
Gozer: Are you a god?
Dr. Raymond Stantz: ...No.
Winston Zeddemore: Ray. When someone asks you if you're a god, you say...YES!!!
And you can tell this is the edited version, can't you?
Dr. Raymond Stantz: Everything was fine until the grid was shut down by wally wick here.
Walter Peck: They caused an explosion!
Mayor: [to Venkman] Is this true?
Dr. Peter Venkman: Yes sir, it's true. This man is some kind of rodent, I don't know which.
"We came, we saw, we kicked its ass!"
in the tv version became
"Wasn't that as much fun as a barrell of monkies?"
The popular quote from Ghostbusters II that fits in the lines of the Twinkie quote:
The Manhattan Museum of Art is covered by slime:
Ray: Looks like a giant JellO Mold!
Winston: I hate JellO.
Peter: Aw, c'mon! There's always room for JellO!
Hey just wanted to say that I wont have my boots for my Stormtrooper armor but we should be able to come over and lend a hand if you need some more help ( spotters/ crowd control) Hey maybe make some fliers for the next drive in and hand them out some of the kids may get a kick out of it. Course have to watch the bar thing with to many new kids around dont want the wrong impresion (ya'no).
If you want to volunteer at the Big Scoop just give Anna at the RMH a yell- firstname.lastname@example.org I'm sure they can use the help!
I'm hoping I can come in my leia costume. Do I also need to email Anna and let her know?
Yeah, anybody who wants to volunteer needs to give Anna a shout so she'll have an idea of how many volunteers will be there and to have your name on the sign in sheet so you can get in that day.
You can also see photos from past Big Scoops at-
or MSCA On-line's photo gallery
or Ronald McDonald House of Memphis.
I finally got off my butt and emailed Anna telling her I'm volunteering. Anybody else want to get their geek on with me and go in costume?
I do, except I have no costume.
I would, but I'm out of town this weekend...be back Monday!!!
Todd Vader says: "I would, but I'm out of town this weekend...be back Monday!!! John"
Ha-ha! you can't back out now! You're out of town THIS weekend, but it's on the 31st! So, you have to volunteer now. I'll be making an ass out of myself anyhow, so you can do 'some'thing!
I have a few Big Scoop pics around Muley's gallery at www.picturetrail.com/muleythemule
I have an extra Jedi costume! Of course, it would be a kilt on John!
Where's Sal when I need him?
Oh cool....I can make the 31st!!! Now, anyone have a costume I can wear? LOL
Tim's got that kilt you can borrow.
Does Sal have an extra outfit? I should borrow it to put Muley in one of the times he's out there. I know he's going out once in the guise of RMH SpokesMule, the once Nekkid as himself, and he could be representin' the SMT.
