Hawaii Rose Parade

Do you all see that George Lucas will be grand marshal for the Parade of Roses on January 1st? Evidently word went out, which I didn't know, until I saw a news item in the Honolulu Advertiser, that they were interviewing or selecting two individuals from each state to be part of the stormtroopers marching in the parade. Our very own 501st is going. Tony is one of the two, and I can't remember the other at the moment (hafta look for the news item; I did remember to tear it out of the newspaper. Congratulations to them !!!

 

Its actually Tory and John Williams (how ironic yah?) Commander(John) and XO(Tory) of the Pacific Outpost 501st.

 

oops !!! sowwy for the typo; meant to say Tory.... so glad for them.

 

That's awesome! I'm actually building the floats all this month. If you guys want to see pictures of the progress, stop by the Los Angeles Fan Force board. We've got a nice plethora of pictures of the parade concepts and the floats.
