Roseanna News - Please Read

Last night received a call from Roseanna. She is in the hospital. Yesterday morning she woke up with a high fever and was rushed to the Arbour Hospital in Brookline. The doctors says she has an infection in her abdomen/chest. They were able to drop her fever a little. At the time I was talking to her, they did not know what was causing it. She had been scheduled for exploratory surgery.

She seemed in good spirit but very grumpy to be in the hospital once again. She wanted me to let you guys know she won't be able to get to the meet tomorrow.

Lets hope she gets better soon.

Thanks for relaying this, Jeff. She just can't seem to buy a break w/ her health, can she?

Anyway, I hope she recovers from this soon.

Hey guys - thanks to everyone for the well wishes. They finally let me go this morning. I'm feeling better, though admittedly weak. I didn't end up having surgery because antibiotic therapy was working, even though they never did figure out where the infection was or exactly what was causing it. That freaks me out a bit because if I don't know how I got sick it's difficult to prevent it from reoccuring, but I'll try my best.

It's going to take me several days to get my bearings here, but after that hopefully I'll be able to catch up with everything that's been going on around here. Thanks for holding things together and not hating me for being gone so much.

 

The important thing is that you are feeling better at this point. Be sure to let us know if you need anything. You have your personal cheering squad :-D
