ROTJ Helmetless Stormtrooper???

Has anyone noticed in ROTJ when the Rebels are captured and brought out of the bunker, there is a camera shot that pans over them with their hands on their heads. In this group is one helmetless Stormtrooper it looks like. Does anyone know anything about this? Is this a part of the story or was this just some joker of an extra?

 

Actually, I think that was a rebel trooper trying to disguise himself into trooper armor.
Tat's just what I had heard though.

 

Yes, there is a cut scene in which one of the Rebel troopers disguise himself.

He has a name. Where's Bib when you need him?!

 

Wow...now that's a new pic for me. Didn't they have something about it in the novelization or was that just one of the earlier times the Rebels encountered some biker scouts on patrol?


And even Bib has to sleep.

 

That particular guy has no name, as far as I know. Decipher's card of him represents a "generic" Rebel scout on Endor.

 

Its possible after the speeder bike was carjacked and they captured the leftover biker, he could have been made to remove his helmet, for what reason i don't know...

But that picture to me, looks like an in-between filming pic that may have been taken...

If you look closely, when Han, Leia and the others finally enter the bunker and pause to look around, you can see the guy in the background positioning himself in front of the door and putting the helmet back on. He was one of the Endor soldiers, wearing the Scout Trooper's outfit so as not to arouse suspicion should more Imperials come around and see no guard on duty.

Later, when Han and the others are captured and lead back outside, there's that shot of all the Rebels standing with their hands on their heads, and the same guy can be seen, minus the helmet but still in the outfit, hands atop his head.

 

[face_shocked] Even the stormtroopers have those shaggy '70's doos!

Oh wait, that's the little black scalp thing. Never mind.
