How do you make the light look like it's turning off from top to bottom? And turning on from bottom to top?

    Thank you

    You mean activations and retractions?

    Go here http://ryanw.michaelfrisk.com/ryan-w/tutorials_sabers2.html
Scroll down to find he ignitions and retractions sections. You can try either method. Prop removal in my experiance is usually better.

Thank you glad to be here. Can someone rotoscope this http://www.uesaclothing.com/files/rotobattleclip.avi
so I can see how it looks when it's done? One more request I would like to ask is can someone help me rotoscope some clips of mine for my fan film (full credit will go to the editor who helps me) it'll only be about 10 minutes or so.

    Thank you once again.

No offense or anything, but you're going to have to give us more details about what you want. You just can't say for us to rotoscope it. Please ask this in the Lightsaber Effects Thread.
