When am I brining that lightsaber?

And it doesn't really look like much anymore. I used it as my stunt saber for a long time and dropped it. So now it's very beat up. :(

As soon as I can figure out how to use my scanner, I'm gonna send you a sketch, Jon.

Costume list to come soon. We have pleanty of Jedi, if people have ideas for something else at this point let me know and we can work it out. Bounty hunders are always good, as are other characters.

I'm 90% done with my helmet. They say it's the hardest part to get together. It's looking sweet!

I'm getting excited! This will be my first outing in costume.

Anybody seen any nice white shiny boots/shoes that might work for a Stormtrooper anywhere?

I just wanted to say that I can't believe how lucky I am to know people like Dajuan and Claire. They put their heads together and came up with one of the best presents I could ever receive from anyone: my very own Jedi Costume. Just like the one I planned out. Sure, I'm not the brightest lightsaber in the bin, so I didn't pick up on the hints they were giving me throughout this process, but I'm glad I didn't. This was a complete surprise. What a great gift. Thank you two so much, I'm still getting over it. One of my dreams has come true!! :D So happy.

Will post pics of the cloak soon... ;)

Anybody seen any nice white shiny boots/shoes that might work for a Stormtrooper anywhere?

Those pictures are great, Scott. I showed them to Bree and I said, "Look, Bree, that little girl likes Star Wars". And she said, "I just want a lightsaber, but I still don't like Star Wars".

Tell her I'll make her a lightsaber if she promises to like Star Wars.

And then I'll make someone a lightsaber if they get rid of the OPPM for me....

Looks like we might have multiple Vaders.... Guess we'll have to schedule Vader time... :p

Twas nothing Scott. Seeing your face when we handed them to you was worth it. :D I'm just glad you like them, and promise to finish the rest soon.

I finished pants for Amy today (might be a little tight) and Scott's tunic but for the velcro. I need to do belts and boots for both of you still.

    No other huge updates yet.

Ken on the flyer could you switch the board address for our site address? That is easier to remember, and we should promote that too.

I can't wait to see the rest of the costume... :D :D

Been writing lots of choreography today... One fight (not sure if it's going to be towards the end or not, but we'll see) involves Ted taking on both Claire and I at the same time. I think I have fit Vader in at the end... That's going to be a special appearance on one of the shows though. We will be performing throughout the day, different shows and stuff. Vader can be in one of them, make that one special. ;) And that fight will be cool.

Just a note, I can't lift my arms too high due to the chest armor.

Am I going to have to go on a diet to fit into these pants? :D

I figured I'd start making the Jedi robe(s) after the 2nd so I could get an idea of what color, material, and who its supposed to fit. So I was hoping that during our toy run we could stop at the fabric store by my house.

Nah, you won't, I would though.

Actually JoAnne's had a big sale this weekend so I picked up some of what we will need. I want to hit some other cloth stores to see if they have what else I'm looking for though.

I'll hit another store tomorrow with Jon as well. Yay for cloth!

    No overhead slashes then, huh?

No overhead slashes then, huh? [hr][/blockquote] I'm still finishing it up but it looks like that might not be a possibility. I haven't strapped it yet, but I'm going to try to work it so that I can lift the entire thing and it will fall back into place. That would give me a better range of motion. But I just watched ANH and it looks like David Prowse had a similar problem. All attacks were very choppy. However, in RotJ, Vader used the saber one handed a lot more. This prevents the arms from locking up on the front of the armor. This might be a possibility as well.
