ROTS Tickets Go on Sale April 20th!

Fandango.com doesn't sell tickets for AMC theaters, so unless we change theaters, keep on the look out for announcements about moviewatcher.com, they sell for AMC.

I CANNOT FLIPPING BELIEVE THEY ARE DOING THIS AGAIN.

Did they not learn anything from AotC? What MORON decided to put tickets on sale right when everyone is going to C3? I don't remember the exact dates last time, but C2 was a week later than this time, wasn't it? And tickets went on sale during C2, right? And yet with C3 a week or something earlier this time, they ... what, change the date that the tickets come out so to coincide? That's just plain cruel and criminal.

Now, admittedly, reading the article carefully, it says that April 20 is the date that the movie is available to be booked by theaters. From there, the theaters have to book it and set up their schedule of showings, and it is after that that the tickets go on sale to the public. But honestly, I don't think it will take long, and I will be surprised if tickets are not on sale while we're at C3.

I'm soooo ticked off!

(And yeah, Fandango is extremely relevent for me; we see the opening night at Century Theaters out here.)

and also, April 20th is when the theaters can book the film, tickets wont go on sale until a few days after that.

Yeah, the thing is... even if it only takes them a few days to go from the movie being available for booking to tickets going on sale, that still puts it while we're at C3.

 

internet sales? cuz we could easily connect in our hotel rooms.

shouldn't make much difference; you can buy 'em all online. And if somehow you guys can't buy tickets while you're at C3...you'll be dependent on those of us you left behind...MWAHAHAHAHA!
