Chic, IL RotS - What Did You Like?

For a while now there have been a lot of threads about what people didn't like about RotS both from people who did and didn't like the movie as a whole.

Myself, I loved the movie but am not blind enough that I'm unable to recognize the flaws that it does have ("she's lost the will to live). But just because I won't hesitate to point out the movie's flaws doesn't mean I didn't like it overall.

What I was wondering is what people did like about RotS?

Whether you loved it, hated it or are somewhere in-between let's start a discussion about what you liked about the flick, what was cool, what Lucas got right, etc?

 

The first 20 minutes I loved. I thought it was great.

After that the only thing I really thought was good was the dual duels.

 

The space battle, the duel, jedi killing and battles and the one crazy clonetrooper on utapau.

 

i loved the first twenty minutes.

i loved the seduction of anakin.

i loved the obi-ani duel.

i loved grievous.

i loved the final moments.

i may hate all this in a year. but for now, that will do.

 

Yeah, in the RotS Dissection thread, I'm pretty positive about most of what we've covered. That reminds me to hit the next section. It'd be sweet if more people put their comments in. As you can see, we don't really debate with each other, or try to discredit each other's opinions, we just talk about what we like and dislike.

hmm, about RotS I liked seeing the world through Vader's eyes, literally. I think the mask coming down was my favorite part of the whole movie.

 

If you have the DVD bootleg, you can pause it, and in the top right corner of his view-screen it says:

Set design and costumes

Seeing it opening night with the Chicago Force.

 

The scene with Anakin waiting in the Council chambers while Mace and the others go to arrest Palpatine. The music, the obvious anguish. It was like sitting at the top of a rollercoaster right before it makes that first huge drop.

Obi Wan in all scenes but the dividing up the kids one.

 

Sithman, where are you, I know for a fact that you loved RotS?????
