All I can say is not really. Buy a mask and get a silk fabric and red gloves and your pretty much set.

I made one for my husband. I'm not completely happy with it but it works. I will be making him one closer to the movie version sometime this year, probably around Christmas. Here's a few pictures of the one he uses now. I used a modified Simplicity pattern for the cloak. For the undercloak he was using a red graduation gown, but I've since made him a burgundy t-tunic lengthened to ankle length. I'll dig up my pattern so I can post which number I used.

Azeem site got a little tutorial for the IRG Outer Robe. There are few more (mostly pictures of the ready robe) and I'll have to dig it out. I'll post my 0.02 later.

Anyhow, if you are seriously doing it, join us over at the IRG Costuming Board

All I can say is not really. Buy a mask and get a silk fabric and red gloves and your pretty much set.

ObI-WaN-JeDi-GuRl, the IRG Robes are made out of VELVET. Majority of IRGs uses Velvet for the outer Robe/Cape while the inner one is between Velvet, Cotton and Satin. Personally I used Satin cause I use Satin Opera Gloves and follows the ROTJ + a bit of AOTC style. :p

And, an IRG is always with his/her Forcepike (or Glaive?). ;) And then, there's the Helmet Painting, robe making, accesories buying/making etc etc.

You won't want to look like this fellow, right? :(

Even this gal's IRG still horrible. :_|
