    OOC: Gonna join the spectating

Alva approached Reiis, giving her a nod. He glanced over to see the sentient being fighting the sith-spawn, Lord Ravenous. Alva could sense her excitement to take a shot at the new apprentice, "If the half-mech fails hopefully Lord Ravenous will leave something for you to fight," he said. Yet Alva couldn't help but think this would be a one sided fight, that the Sith Lord would leave the apprentice in scrap heaps, then feast on the fleshy exposed leftovers. It seemed like suicide and a bit humorous. "Soon new apprentices will be challenging the Triumvirate themselves, that would be a blood bath for sure," Alva said to himself with a smile on his face.

Alva turned back to Reiis, "If he somehow wins it will be an impressive accomplishment for the apprentice, though all the odds are highly against him, as I'm sure you would agree." He folded his arms and leaned along the same wall that Reiis was.

The heightened senses that come after many experiences in being ambushed and outnumbered alert the Kaleesh to the fact that other eyes with ill-intentions have set their sights on him. Though this is his first time facing off with a Sith, he has clashed with unfortunate Jedi in the past. He certainly didn't build the four lightsabers he has in his possession.

He has witnessed use of the Force and he inwardly despises it, seeing it as a cowardice way to fight, relying on a supernatural source rather than one's own prowess and training. Being in combat with a Force-wielder fuels his rage and that rage keeps him insatiably hungry for the conquest.

The first spectator has clear disdain emanating from her very gaze; he can feel it like the cruel and silent sun glaring down on the desert terrain with no mercy. Though he is keenly aware of it, he does not allow the piercing gaze to distract him. However, his enhanced sense of hearing detects the second spectator's soft and derisive comment and he bristles inside.

Go ahead and underestimate me, he thinks while keeping his focus on the Wookiee, Such a disrespect to ancient culture, these ones. Never underestimate any foe. Always assume they are capable of cutting you down.

He pushes the thoughts from his mind to avoid losing focus. The spectators are angering him and he has a choice; he can permit the anger to distract him and give this Wookiee an easy victory, or he can channel the anger into combat. He chooses the latter.

Maybe before his transformation he would have underestimated his opponent. The Wookiee, so cocky, so... Ignorant of the ways of the Dark Side. Now he knew what it meant to be Sith. It wasn't the powers you acquire, no. It was the power you can attain over another through battle, through cunning, through force if it was needed. Ravenous' preference to take it through combat was what he was made for.
The Kaleeshian blocked his attack with stride, he also countered the attack to boot; aimed low for Ravenous' right side. The Sith-Spawn pushed the ensuing lock backwards and retreated his left handed saber to pursue the new attack. He growled as he channeled the Rage he relied so much upon to preform in the art of war. He blocked the incoming attack with a reversed grip with the right hand and locked that as well.
Bringing his tendrils to life, he snaked one to the rear of the Kaleeshian and coiled the Cyborg's left leg, attempting to yank it out backwards so that he would fall forward.

"Yes," Reiis replied to her fellow apprentice absentmindedly, smiling a little. "It would be most impressive. It is nearly impossible, though. And he needs to be taught a lesson. We can't have such disrespect within the ranks of the Empire."

The Kaleesh cyborg had expected to be pushed back on his defensive side and he is not disappointed. He hasn't been in close combat in a while and it pleases him to be reassured that he still has the foresight to anticipate how his opponent will respond to his actions. He is also pleased that this will be a challenge for him. Easy victories aren't even worth bragging rights in his mind.

As the Wookiee growls and moves to block his low blow, the Kaleesh braces himself against the impact and pushes into the lock. If the opportunity arises, he won't hesitate to butt Ravenous in the face with his steel-plated shoulder. Though most of his combat is saber-based, he is well aware that his body alone is a weapon. What does surprise him is when Ravenous deviates from the lightsabers and takes a firm grip on his left leg, once again making an attack on his weaker side.

Instinct would tell him to shift his weight and strike out with the captured limb in an attempt to break Ravenous' grip, but he has been trained from years ago to never react upon instinct. In this case, doing so would play right into the Sith-Spawn's plans to throw him off balance and likely impale him as soon as he was off his guard. So instead of acting on instinct, the cyborg does the opposite. He shifts his weight to the captured leg and anchors his talons so that any pull will be futile on the Wookiee's part.

His balance is as good as it can be under the circumstances with two saber locks on both sides and one leg literally under wraps. He is not without options though. He still has a free leg and it is with lightning-fast quickness and precision that he strikes out at the Wookiee's chest with the dual intent of pushing him back and compromising his balance.

As for the spectators, he can hear the response of the female who identifies herself as Reiis. She has challenged him as well and he has welcomed it. He will engage her after he completes the fight he is in now. Yes, he intends to complete it. Surrender is not in his vocabulary and if this fight should kill him, he will see to it that his opponent pays a hefty price as he goes down.

You would know a lot about disrespect, wouldn't you? he thinks, glancing sidelong at Reiis before locking his gaze back on Ravenous. Focus. They're only here as vultures hoping to witness a death...but it's not going to be mine.

Ravenous took the kick to the chest and slid backwards away from the melee. At least 20 meters of dust followed the blow before his tendrils dug into the soil stopping him. Behind the fading cloud remained Ravenous rising from the blow. He exhaled as he pulled his red Lightsaber back into its sheath; Bringing his hands back unto the remaining blackblade. The Sith-Spawn brought the blade up to an overhead posture, the tip pointing forward and insisted,

"Come on, I haven't even done anything yet! You don't want me to use the Force, Warrior! FIGHT ME!"

With the kick successfully freeing his leg, the cyborg squares off to evenly distribute his weight on both legs once again, retracting his talons to regain mobility. As Ravenous skids to a stop some distance away, the Kaleesh narrows his eyes, peering through the dust as it rises all along the path of drag marks that lead to the Wookiee. There he is; still able to fight. No matter. He hadn't unleashed a death blow kick anyway. If he had, the Sith-Spawn would have been impaled and still attached to his talons.

The Sith-Spawn's threat to use the Force is not taken lightly. He knows his limitations and the disadvantages to having a mechanical body. Enough high voltage could potentially short-circuit the electro-impulses that mimic neurons communicating commands from his brain to his body and he is not a fan of Force lightning. He knows this is something often used as a distant attack and though there is still risk involved, he is actually wiser and safer if he maintains close combat.

As Ravenous demands a fight from him, he obliges, coming forward and rotating all four blades in his hands, slowly at first, but speeding up the rotation as he closes the distance, creating a strobe of blue and green as the ignited lightsabers hum and buzz, leaving burned gouges in the cobblestones on either side of him. With two rotating sabers lowered and two rotating just above his head at such rapid speed, it would appear that he has a shield of light surrounding him.

As he closes the distance and places himself within striking range, he maintains the rotation of three lightsabers while he makes a single lightning-fast uppercut strike with the intent of disarming Ravenous. Because of his size, uppercut strikes are not an easy feat for him and he rarely resorts to this, but Ravenous was a Wookiee and as such, their heights aren't too far apart. He is not ignorant of the fact that Ravenous is trying to feel him out by antagonizing him to strike first. This is why he maintains the triple-bladed rotation to hopefully deter any counter strike while he automatically puts himself in a vulnerable position by striking first.

    Sphere of the Blood Mists

The chiss-zabrak hybrid male let his eyes widen in surprise for just a moment as Nazmina managed to duck under the blow, her own blade springing to life to gut him as they rushed in on each other. At the last second, he flipped up and over the blade, using his own to ward off any attacks at his arms if she did so.

Landing back on the ground and spinning on his heel awkwardly, wobbling for just a second; it was evident the evasion had been more instinct than anything. And barely done.

His face contorted in anger at the almost embarrassing display on his part, his rage palpable in the very air. The young man was clearly a being of intense rage, though his story and reasons were his own to know for the time being.

Running for her again, but a little more controlled, he aimed for her right shoulder this time, mindful of a potential counter.

The battle thus continued and the mystery behind its purpose as well.

Darth Ravenous kept his posture in the same position as the flurry closed in upon him. Before the Kaleeshian Cyborg mowed through him he lowered his weapon to his side in an inattentive way. The Sith-Spawn, however brought the Force into himself to preform an acrobatic leap over the Cyborg; clearing him and his sabers completely with a front flip. He landed the opposite side of his enemy facing away in a full sprint towards the Obelisk that reside in the middle of the courtyard. He twirled his saber as he neared the Monolith and drove his saber clean through it. As the hulking structure began to topple, Ravenous used the Force to guide it toward the Kaleeshian's location. Surely this would shake the warriors moral, if it didn't squash him like a bug.

Fiery gold eyes ever fixed on their opponent, the Kaleesh warrior is not surprised when Ravenous tries to put some distance between them. This mega-melee attack method of his often has this effect--sometimes it's out of intimidation, other times it's because the opponent is smart enough to not even try striking a living whirlwind of burning blades. Given the Sith-Spawn's style, the cyborg believes his feigned retreat is for the latter reason: he's too smart to try and counter strike.

He growls softly as Ravenous utilizes the Force to flip over him and out of range. Such an annoying power, the Force can be. Even more annoying when one doesn't like to be reminded that they too possess the capabilities for it. The ancient culture that had trained him to fight and kill and survive by wit and strength alone is very strong in the Kaleesh and the Force capabilities he possesses deny all of these things in his mind.

Having been momentarily distracted by this impressive display of the Force, the cyborg refocuses his attention on Ravenous as he attacks the monolith. It takes him a moment to put two and two together--a bit too much of a moment actually. By the time the Kaleesh realizes what Ravenous is up to, he has solid chunks of stone flying at him. He dodges the first bit of debris, but a particularly large chunk catches him in the chest and hurtles him back against the wall.

Stunned from the hit as he is, its surprising how quickly his cybernetic body recalibrates itself and he uses the strength in his legs to push the stone away and get out from the tight spot the Wookiee had put him in. Hunched over, he falls to coughing briefly from the direct hit to perhaps he most fragile part of his body, but his reptilian eyes remain focused on Ravenous.

"Touché," he coughs, taking up his fighting stance once again, "That was impressive, Force-wielder. I am pleased to be pitted against a Sith with such skill."

Rotating the lightsabers again, he approaches at a steady pace, still bearing in mind that close combat is safer than having the disadvantage of distance. As one who purposely chooses to engage in combat without the Force, the only distance attack he could possibly be able to do would be resorting to a blaster, but he's not carrying one. Too many things could go wrong if he were to have one on him during a fight with a Force-wielder.

He comes within striking range again and begins to circle Ravenous slowly, relying on intimidation as he evaluates where to strike next. Given the Wookiee's tall stature that rivals his own, he already knows that low blows are a bane to them both. However, he also knows that striking low leaves his upper body vulnerable if he fails to execute the strike carefully.

Stilling the rotation of his blades, he keeps his secondary pair of arms up in guard over his back and he stoops low to take a shot at Ravenous' legs. It's a risky attack, but the gain outweighs the risk. A legless Wookiee, Force or no Force, would be at a very clear disadvantage. As a fine cyborg once said, what good is an amputee in the heart of battle?

The Sith-Spawn remained unmoved as the pillar debris found its mark. Standing there, one hand stroking his beard tendrils with inquisition while the other hand gripped his hilt harder as the Kaleeshian remained fighting. The exoskeleton must have lessened the impact.. Ravenous thought to himself as the grip started cracking the wooden saber hilt he still held alight. The Cyborg continued the assault, this time raising two sabers in a guarded posture while spinning the others. He came in for a low attack, not necessarily predicted, but right.

Ravenous stepped backwards quickly, one foot behind the other, sliding through the soil gracefully. As he was avoiding the Kaleeshian's pressing attack, he brought his other saber back to life in his unarmed hand. The low sizzling hum of the blade mingled with his enemy's sabers burning through the air. The Sith-Spawn stopped on his left foot and turned up the heat. He lunged forward and locked the spinning sabers and brought them upwards and spread them apart, ready to retreat the lock to block the Kaleeshian's overhead sabers. Ravenous threw out a right boot for good measure, aimed around the meaty bits he could see see peaking through the solid armored exoskeleton.

Though he lacks skill with the Force simply because he refuses to resort to it, the unidentified Kaleesh cyborg is proving that his swordsmanship is not amateur. Ravenous should be able to tell by now that his opponent has defeated his share of foes before through saber-wielding alone. He is far from impulsive; everything he does is calculated before it is executed and these calculations come from a brilliantly strategic but fully organic brain. The only credit he owes to the cybernetic implants therein is the speed with which he is able to calculate.

As Ravenous makes the gutsy move of confronting his whirlwind attack, coming directly into the spinning lightsabers and locking them, the Kaleesh is braced for the impact. He already knows Ravenous is no coward, which earns him some admiration from the primitive warrior encased in a high-tech body. He pushes into the lock just enough to keep the Wookiee from forcing him backwards, but not enough to propel him forward should Ravenous suddenly draw back. Though the Wookiee is flesh and blood and likely nowhere near the weight of his dura-steel opponent, the Kaleesh finds himself having to lock his talons into the ground again to avoid being pushed back.

Unfortunately, when his low attack is blocked and Ravenous pushes him back, he forces him into an upright position, exposing his chest instead of his back, which he hadn't exactly anticipated. He had expected the Wookiee to either retreat to save his legs or attack his exposed back. He hadn't foreseen being pressed into an even more vulnerable position. As he takes the kick to the chest--or, more accurately, the sack containing his vital organs--there is something of a mixture between a growl and a slight gasp that would imply pain has been keenly felt, though it is not debilitating pain at this point. More like getting the wind knocked out of him. As long as the Wookiee doesn't have a shank or some other sharp weapon hidden in that boot, he isn't too concerned. The membrane encasing his organs is tough enough to handle a kick; it just leaves him somewhat stunned.

Recovering from the unexpected blow, he growls again and pulls out of the lock with all the swift grace of a dancer, whirling back and to the right and dipping down to recoil into himself, thereby guarding his softer parts as he spins all four sabers again and circles backwards, clearly moving with intentions of attacking Ravenous from behind before he can recover from the broken lock.

After the kick landed, Ravenous planted his remaining foot into the ground and spun his sabers. The Former Wookiee may be primitive, but his Lightsaber technique was refined through countless hours of Jedi training. His Master was firm on his teachings of the art of combat; being a guardian of the Light Side and a Master of all the forms of the blade. This, also with Darth Hades teachings turned this being into a weapon, one of immense hatred while coupled with the Sith Alchemy this Wookiee endured was enough for any fighter. But this one Kaleesh suffered a shiny loss himself. A Natural Warrior turned weapon... A tool of the Dark Side. Much like himself, he could not help to stop the battle as he powered down his blades. This enemy would be better used elsewhere. The metallic statuesque Warrior needed to prove a Master in combat with an equal. The Sith-Spawn held back the Force for the most part and this simple apprentice withstood enough. Mercy was not like Ravenous but it would unknowingly serve his ultimate plan.

"I concede... I urge you to do the same, Cyborg. We have more in common than you think. Your skills would be utilized elsewhere than a pointless duel. I have recognized your skills in the battle of the blades, would you do the same?"

Ravenous retreated his blades, one onto his belt, the other turned downward and away from his front. The remaining hand was held out in a gesture to shake hands.

His entire mechanical body tense and locked in preparation to spring a second attack, the Kaleesh's senses heighten as Ravenous sheathes his blades and speaks. Shifting gears to prepare for whatever may come of this, he is understandably suspicious. He had expected to destroy this mutated Wookiee or die trying; there were no other alternatives. Only absolutes. So when Ravenous calls out for him to stand down and agree to a truce of sorts, the cyborg is on high alert. He's been ambushed before and he's no fool. This could very well be a trap.

Yet internal conflict nips at him like a hound from Sirius. Ravenous has proven himself to be an impressive opponent and this latest act of calling for a truce has not been lost to his mind that it is an act frequently executed between Kaleesh warriors who are either impressed with another warrior or fear they may not survive if the duel continues. Of course, many times, the latter were brought within an inch of their lives to learn never to surrender out of fear, but the former is an honorable act, allowing another of formidable skill to live and fight another day only because he has proved more valuable alive than dead. Ravenous is no coward; the Kaleesh has already determined this. So it can only be that the Sith-Spawn has recognized something worthwhile in the one he had challenged.

The cyborg, remaining tense simply out of instinct and not fully trusting Ravenous' words, circles back around to face the Wookiee and ceases the spinning of his lightsabers, sheathing three in a sequential manner and returning two to his hip armor before interlocking his extra pair of arms back into the dominant two. Slowly, he lowers the remaining weapons, but keeps them in hand with one still ignited, unwilling to fully lower his guard despite the boldness of his opponent adopting a perceivably vulnerable stance.

"Honorable words, Force-wielder," he replies, choosing his words purposefully to let Ravenous know that a weapon relinquished means little when the one in possession of the weapons is also equipped with the Force. However, he places his third saber on his hip armor and finally sheathes his last blade with a nod of respect to the Wookiee. "Very well. I too shall relinquish my assault and honor you by letting you keep your hand."

He nods toward his opponent's extended hand and simply raises his own in a gesture of agreement to disarm, but he does not come within reach. He has been betrayed too many times to showcase much trust these days. It is with sorrow that he regards the Wookiee's gesture, remembering the days when a handshake served as the seal on a man's word. The ancient culture still flickering in him wishes he could return the gesture and feel like a living creature again instead of a machine, but those days, like most of his flesh and bone, are gone for good.

"Let it be known that I, Darth Grievance Vexx, will not claim the end of this duel as a victory," he continues, "Because you have requested that I stand down, this shall be remembered as a sparring session between two experienced quad-wielders. It was an honor to lock blades with you, dark lord."

If he were capable of such expression, the hint of a smile might have crossed his features as he inclines his head one final time, honoring the peace requested as he backs away and returns his final weapon to his hip armor. His fiery golden eyes then shift to the shadows off to the side where the other two apprentices had been hoping to see his demise. One of them--Reiis, was it?--had said she had hoped that Ravenous would leave something for her to finish off and it would appear that the Sith-Spawn has left a lot of something. Making eye contact with her, he wonders if she is still in the mood to challenge him.

Reiis was more than a little disappointed that the Wookiee didn't finish the cyborg, but that was alright. She would finish him herself. Turning her head, she smiled at her fellow apprentice standing besides her, laughing with assurance. "Scrap metal in10 minutes," she smirked.

She turned back towards the cyborg, who was now looking at her, allowing her smile to turn into a cocky smirk. She threw off her heavy outer cloak, letting it fall to the ground, as she preferred to fight with only her inner tunic. Slowly and casually, she strolled into the arena, chin raised slightly in self assurance, not once breaking eye contact with the cyborg. Only when she stopped about ten feet away from him did she look away. She stole a glance at her surroundings. Reiis had fond memories of this arena – it had been the setting for her first fight, and she had reduced the arena to rubble.

But this fight was different. This was a fight of honor – that elusive quality that somehow both did and did not exist. This fight, she could not fail. This was but one step in her efforts to prove herself to higher powers, to show her fellow apprentices what she was capable of. To prove she wasn't just another apprentice. She was no longer a foolish apprentice carelessly enjoying her newfound powers. She meant business now.

Which meant, by extension, that the cyborg would be made an example.

She looked again at the machine. Four lightsabers, she had seen. One sack of internal organs. That made five. Reiis look at her ungloved left hand. Luckily, Insipid had left her with at least one arm. Five fingers, still. Five targets, five fingers.

    How convenient.

Lifting her hand, curling her fingers inwards ever so slightly, Reiis tapped into her rage – that everlasting flow of molten rocks, magma in her soul. From her fingers leapt five rays of Force Lightning, four curving outward to bring the cyborg's lightsaber away from his body.

And one, central, powerful bolt to destroy him.

The Cyborg stood down as Ravenous attempted to lead him into a ploy with his handshake, his plan to pull the metallic warrior towards himself and flay him with his reserved hilt. He however didn't take the bait which caused Ravenous to fight off the urge to just fry him and the gathered apprentices. Invadator, Apprentice to the Headmistress of the Academy, was off-limits but the Cyborg; apprenticed to the Ancient one, Draconis would still prove useful in Ravenous' ultimate goal, besides, competition between apprentices was always entertaining as well as the way of the Sith. The Sith-Spawn passed many thoughts through his genetically enhanced brain in a moment's time before making his way back to his quarters where he had to 'interrogate' a Padawan his strike team had recovered from the next system over; One last thought passing through him,

"Mmm... the younglings are so tender."

His identity revealed--though not the one he was born with--is a small but key step toward Grievance's goal: to have his name remembered and respected. At least a name is out there now. He feels both relief and a tinge of sorrow over this as Darth Grievance Vexx is not the one who had slain his thousands in the name of freedom. That Kaleesh warrior has been reduced to ninety percent machine now, but if his identity must be different, why not choose for it to fall into place in his lineage?

He shakes these soul-searching thoughts away and reverts to watching Ravenous as he says nothing more and takes his leave. Yes, Grievance had sensed an ulterior motive in the Sith-Spawn's gesture and this sense has nothing to do with that cursed "gift" of the Force that resides somewhere within his organic makeup. This can only be credited to the fact that he has experienced betrayal before--and it landed him inside this mechanical armor equipped with everything necessary to keep what is left of him alive. Unless that armor is severely damaged anyway.

His golden eyes shift back to Reiis as she makes her way across the courtyard with purpose. Oh, she has a great deal of confidence, doesn't she? Perhaps she does have rank and status prevailing his own in this strange Sith culture and hierarchy, but he has nearly double the years on her; years that have yielded a great deal of experience on the battlefield. He growls softly in annoyance as he can sense her rage through his own Force sensitivity. How he hates this sense! It is nothing but a distraction to him when he is trying to focus on war and this is one small reason why he refuses to purposely tap into it. It is unnatural and goes against everything his ancient culture had taught him.

His focus returns in full as Reiis continues advancing toward him. His natural senses tell him that she is sizing him up, pinpointing his weaknesses so that she can exploit them. He really has no need to do the same to her. He can already see that she is a human wearing little armor if any at all. It's not anything physical he needs to watch out for anyway. He can tell this one relies heavily on that blasted Force and it spurs his own anger. He would rather duel with one who relies more on skill than supernatural power. Perhaps he should have cut the Wookiee's hand off and kept that fight going.

He doesn't have much time for regret though. One advantage of his mechanical body is it conducts minor charges of electricity before they are even discharged, giving him ample time to prepare for evasive action. He can feel the Force building as Reiis converts her rage into a deadly firestorm of lightning and he knows she's not doing this for show; she's going to use it on him. She's made a grave mistake. If there is anything this Kaleesh cyborg will not be made into, it's a fatal example.

So when Reiis releases her electrified blast of punishment, Grievance is no whipping boy. His cybernetic body reacts with powerful speed to get out of range, taking a long leap to the right, his hands reflexively going to his weapons as he makes a landing in a deep crouch. A sharp clicking is heard as he splits his two arms into four once again, catching hold of his extra lightsabers quickly before Reiis can succeed in her attempt at Force-pulling them away from him. If she wants his weapons, she will have to kill him to get them.

"Quite a flashy entrance, Force-wielder," he coughs, straightening slightly, but remaining in a defensive position as he begins the signature rapid rotation of all four lightsabers, knowing she is already aware of the soft parts sustaining his life inside his mechanical prison, "But I have yet to see the warrior you are training to be. Now...are you ready?"

OOC- Thank you, WookieeRage . I hope to duel with you again.

Needless to say the result of the duel was...surprising. It was a rare occasion when Lord Ravenous did not utterly destroy his opponent. The cyborg had fought well, and was still in one piece from the looks of it.

Alva slightly shifted his eyes at the sound of Reiis laughing. No doubt she was waiting for this moment, "Scrap metal in 10 mins," she said with excitement in her voice.

Alva returned with a crooked and winked,"He seems definitely ready to fight again."

Quick as a flash, the cyborg leapt out of the way of her blasts. Impressive, it certainly was...but they were just starting. She put her left hand down, and brought her right hand to rest on her darksaber, still firmly clipped to her belt.

"Quite a flashy entrance, Force-wielder, but I have yet to see the warrior you are training to be. Now...are you ready?"

Heck, yeah, she was ready. She had only just warmed up. Casually, she grabbed her darksaber and lifted it straight out in front of her, balancing it on her open palm. She looked at the cyborg, who was now rotating his sabers wildly. She cocked her head, bringing it in line with her darksaber, as if to aim it at the droid.

Which was exactly what she was doing.

She saw an open spot in his defense, and in an instant, she sent it sailing towards the droid -- black blade ignited -- hopefully faster than he could react to it.

Grievance narrows his eyes at Reiis as she switches tactics to actually use her weapon. He feels a rush of adrenaline pulse through the blood vessels piped from his brain to his organs, quickening his heart rate. At last, they will engage in a real battle. But no. What is she doing now? She's not handling the saber as one wielding a sword. Her stance actually mimics that of an archer. Is she really going to attempt a distant projectile attack with a saber?

That's a yes. Her aim is pretty accurate as the blade sails right at him, coming straight toward the armor plating covering the right side of his chest--a potentially deadly shot--but one that falls short of its goal nonetheless. As the blade makes it through his whirling defense, it comes into contact with the chest armor plating, already starting to melt through on contact, but he quickly adjusts the rotation to catch the hilt of her saber and fling it away like a twig shot out of a lawnmower. No real harm done. Depending on how deeply the blade has penetrated his armor, he may need to have it replaced before he gets himself into another fight.

In any case, Reiis' saber clatters to the ground after his rotating blades put the kibosh on her archery attempt. He then takes to circling while still rotating all four of his sabers, shifting from antagonist to intimidator now. He's pretty sure he can sense a bit of fear in this one. Whether she has ever been in combat with a quad-wielder before, he does not know, but it would appear that she is hesitant to engage him hand-to-hand.

"Strike two," he chuckles darkly as he circles her like a predator, "Have you only been trained to attack from a distance, young lady?"

Reiis quickly summoned her saber back into her hand, still standing a decent distance away from the quad-wielder. The fool apparently thought taunting her would work.

"Strike two. Have you only been trained to attack from a distance, young lady?" He began circling.

She fired back, smirking "You certainly haven't done any better yourself. Why don't you close the distance?" A taunting grin. "Or did your brain suffer from the attack, too? You need help attacking? Let me help you."

Reiis's hand shot out, closing around nothing. But with the Force, she aimed to crush the cyborg.

"Too bad you're just metal and wires, droid. Maybe you'd be able to put a decent fight."
