When he closed his eyes, he saw a myriad of things that never happened. Happily-ever-after situations that could have been like the one the program was currently blaring. First kisses that never were. Friendships, loves. Lives unlived.

?I could have loved you,? he mumbled into the bottle, but he didn?t even know who he was saying it to, and he wasn?t sure that it was true, after all.

WOW! I don't know how I missed this one, but WOW! It really brought home that saying about the "road not taken." What if Han had not returned in time? YIKES! Very powerfully written, your Han was superb! I bow down to your expertise! Amazing stuff!
