Speaking of invasions, what is the deal with all the freaking penguins around town. I am seeing one on about every street corner. And you can't miss them cause they are painted all the colors of the rainbow. If anyone knows please explain....

 

Well Roger, every place that there is a penguin out in front, that business has donated money (I hear they have to give something like $5000.00) to the black footed penguin exhibit that the Tulsa Zoo is trying to build. Then the business picks a local artist to paint the thing up. I think it is really cool and a great way to support out local artist and city Zoo.

Also at the end of an unspecified time the penguins will be auctioned off and that money go to finance the new exhibit.. The one I like is the Tulsa World one. the one down by the Brook is just disturbing hehehe

 

Personally, I'd like to see Night Trips get one, too!
