RUN LEIA RUN - Coming at some point. View teaser!

We brought you... nothing else you would have seen.

Now, Guy in his Basement Productions is proud to announce its newest Star Wars fan film:

RUN LEIA RUN

This will be a Flash animation that crosses "The Empire Strikes Back" with German film "Run Lola Run" ("Lola rennt"). Amusement and hilarity will ensue in large quantities.

Production has been going on since April. All the preliminary animation is finished, and slowly I am casting voices and doing the other highly interesting things that are required to make a movie. I hope to finish by June.

I am hoping to produce the film in association with Northwestern University's extracurricular film program.

The film will be at least 10-12 minutes long. There will be less than a second of lightsaber footage and absolutely no Siths in forests.

Upping just this once more, and then I'll stop. Doesn't ANYONE want to take the opportunity to say "It sucked"?

Also, to publicly clarify something I was asked over AIM: the skin tone looks a little funny because of the conversion from Flash to Sorenson (I think--Sorenson appeared to be the only codec that would turn the skin tone this color!). It will look far better (read: healthier!) in the actual movie.
