Lol, I just realized the German word for cry (weinen) and the German word for wine (Wein) are almost identical

Edit: also people can't cry in Sanskrit because it's a dead language

Computers nowadays have trouble running Kotor and Kotor II sometimes simply because of how outdated they are. They HATE laptops, but they do work on them, but more than anything, they often fail to cooperate with integrated graphics cards

That being said, humble brag time - I know mostly everything there is to know about the Kotor games, including troubleshooting for when you're having problems getting the game to work or encounter other issues, so....

@Huttese 101 I don't have a computer to play anything on My computer is both a mac and has barely any space on it for games. The only thing I have downloaded right now on steam is Bejeweled 3 and something else tiny

@Seagoat are the Steam rereleases emulated or do they run natively? Since you know so dang much about KOTOR, why don't you take your own personal free time to go through the source code, line by line, and debug whatever is making the game janky with modern operating systems and intergrated graphics processors. It should be no trouble for you, the world's leading expert on Knights of the Old Republic.

 

I mean, technically it's still the same thing. The game was mostly done, and the computer version only had about 8 new files in the override folder - all of which were generally inconsequential

I've been listening to this late 60's Sinatra song... not well known but great nonetheless. The guitar riff gives it an almost Bond-like taste (which makes me yearn for the fantasy of a Frank Sinatra song in a Sean Connery Bond film... oh what it could have been! )

@El Jedi Colombiano did you hear Hank Williams Sr.'s 1949 version of Lovesick Blues was back on the charts last week (the Spotify US Viral chart at least) because of the Yodel kid video?

If you haven't seen the video, you should look it up. Honestly, I think I prefer the kid's rendition to Williams'. And I tend to avoid Instagram-type memes.

 

He also did a cover of blue moon which was great.

 

Oh I haven't seen that one. That should be good. Or weird. Either way.
