Can people with dual-citizenship who were born in the US run for prez, or is it just myth that you have to renounce foreign citizenship to be eligible?

 

If you are born outside the US you cannot run for president even if you get Citizenship I do believe

Yep. If they were born in the U.S and say had Canadian citizenship they could still run.

 

@Seagoat all the presidential candidates have to make a mandatory appointment with the US Dentist General and if they discover you have the crooked, yellow, tea-stained teeth of an Englishman you are ineligible to run. So you can't.

Washington had wooden dentures, but his teeth were still straight, so he was in the clear.

 

This is not political in anyway I just wanted to bring up this weird thing. Ted Cruz was born in Canada (Your Welcome ) Yet most Law people were like "he's cool to run for President" Why though?
