Oh wow, a mush thread!

I'm SkalenFehl and I love mush. Yes, I'm a romantic at heart. Just don't tell anyone or I'll rip your heart out! Here's my first and only mush story, which I submitted earlier this year to the Beyond the Saga forums:

Besides what I've had in ROSE, I haven't done much romance.

 

Besides what i have in my Lance Flir series and a new epic i'm part of (tips hat to Briman), Children of the Force,i haven't done much either.

 

Yupe, COTF has everything. I like the lance flir series, the idea is interesting.

 

I like it too. It is actually a fic based on an idea i had for a character named Brant Flir, who i named my screen-name after, that i created, and this is his grandfather or great-grandfather, ihaven't decided how many Flir series i want. Yes, Children of the Force does have everything. Well, enough of that, now to Romance: How do you best write romance?

 

I think that romance fics are best when there is just good old fashioned mush, kissing and talking. But they have to have some sort of meaning to them, I think.

Well, enough of that, now to Romance: How do you best write romance?

Hmm. Well personally, I think the best romance when using pre-established characters maintains their unique personalities and doesn't try to force any behavior upon them. That way what happens will seem like a natural extension of the characters. That is, unless you're doing it for laughs, in which case go crazy

Yes, I rather get annoyed by that.

 

"R&R" I assume means "read and review"? Umm, nope, haven't really done that yet, at least not with fanfic (done it with fan art, but with a membership this big it's hard to keep track of it all).

I'll go post my thoughts/praise in the thread itself. Actually makes more sense that way

Yeah, r/r is Read/Review. I always try to do it because I'm a feedback junkie myself and know how hard it is not to get comments.
