She's not a Boba Fett wannabe. If she was, she would be a Bounty Hunter. She is an artist and explosive expert. I'd say that's really original and far away from Boba Fett.

The more Sabine posts I read, the more happy I am that I never got attached to the Mandos.

The Mandalorians are one of the best things about Star Wars, but that doesn't mean I want them everywhere and in everything.

    Right. Okay.

But she's the only Mando we have in the show at this point. I think it's pretty amazing. And we'll find out more about what happened to Mandalore through her eventually. They wouldn't just leave the whole, my family was negativaly effected by the Empire alone.

If anyone is a wannabee, it's Boba Fett. That dude is not even a little bit a Mandalorian. He's from Kamino, and he's an amoral bounty hunter who uses Mandalorian armor because A: It's pretty fricking sweet and B: Jango used it.

Mando fans combined with Traviss' ****ing made me the opposite of attached to the Mandos.

TCW Mandos were the first time they were actually interesting to me, because they weren't all clones of the fandom's version of Boba Fett.

Also Sabine is the first time we have a mando warrior as a protagonist. In the EU mando's seemed to just care about killing jedi and money, and they were antagonists for TCW as well. I think its good idea to explore the idea of a mando warrior as a good guy. It breaks a stereotype.

Did we ever have a good Mando in the EU?

    Fair enough. Also,

Have you not read the KOTOR comics? Rectify this.

I'm catching up on JJM right now while also trying to find a way to get him to write a comic with Ahsoka.

But anyway, I know Sabine's backstory is going to emotionally compromise me.

You could always write him a lengthy, dramatic letter.

But yeah, I'm looking forward to finding out more about Sabine and her history. It's most likely going to be pretty sad. Does anyone here think she has family alive? Or could they be imprisoned by the Empire?

Yeah, she couldn't have been very old when she joined the crew.
I strongly suspect that Mandalore got ****ed up pretty hard.

Damn. I feel so bad for child Sabine now.

Do you think she got off planet and met the Ghost crew or they met her on Mandalore?

Well given how formidable the Mando's are as warriors, and how independent-minded the seem to be, I can totally see The Empire seeing them as a potential threat and wanting to crush them. What are the odds that Sabine watched her family die right in front of her as a young girl (pretty likely I'd say)?

Pretty high probably. I don't think the Empire would hesitate to kill someone right in front of another person. Child or not. Do you think she still has nightmares about it? Sort of like a PTSD thing or something?
