I wonder what she was like in regards to first meeting Hera and Kanan. Now that we know more about her.

 

Does anyone know if the Rebels novel covers any of Sabine's backstory?

Yes, that is the one.

 

It just focuses on Hera and Kanan six years before Rebels. So, no she wasn't in it. Hopefully we get a separate book on her though. But based on the whole call sign thing, we can say she was picked up as a crew member before Ezra was. How and why she decided to go with Hera and Kanan, we don't know yet. But hopefully they tell us soon.

 

I noticed Sabine is one letter difference from Sabrine.

 

Or Satine.

 

Sabrine and Sabrina have a tragic origin.

I wonder if that is a hint from the writers.

I hope not. I mean, I guess she could eventually die. But I think she could do a lot more if she was kept alive. Right now, the biggest threats to the Empire are Kanan and Ezra. Because, you know...there Jedi.

 

Sabrine/Sabrina was illegitimate daughter of a Celtic King that was drowned in a river which became known as the Sabrine River.

When Sabine was in the academy, they were sent to hunt down force sensitives. Other teenagers like themselves. And when they found them; they had to kill them. It could be like a test of loyalty to the Empire. Maybe they were not even force sensitive; but people who did better then the others.

I know that's kind of dark. But it's possible. Especially if they were convinced/brainwashed about Jedi being the enemy.

Anyway, I hope she will tell Hera more about what happened to her. She can't have told her everything.

 

I don't think Hera pr anyone else on the ghost crew nows a hole lot about her and I hope she tells the least to Ezra.

 

Maybe she will. But I feel like at this point she would be more comfortable with Hera becuase she's the only other girl and you know, more nurturing/mother like.

 

Ya I see what you mean I just want Sabine/Ezra to disappear.
