Full Series Sabine

Except that I don't really like that either. WHY doesn't she like him? The show, as much as I like it, hasn't really done a good job of justifying that hate. And frankly if this is a continuing thing, where he proves himself over and over and over again and helps save the day repeatedly and she STILL doesn't like him for no good reason, then it's going to get old really fast.

 

Why should she have to like him though? Not every girl falls for every guy. He's still what, fourteen? She's sixteen and girls can be more mature then guys. Maybe she doesn't trust guys close to her age. It's been six episodes now. And she has her own interests. Maybe Ezra doesn't fit into the category of the guy girl she likes.

 

She does not like him as a guy she would date but as a friend/comrade ya.

 

Exactly. I think that there is too much, "let's go after the first guy we see" these days. Let Sabine be single and her own person, who doesn't need a man.

A lot of people have speculated that. But this isn't the place for that either. I don't want a huge war to start because of this.

There is already a romantic arch with Kanan and Hera. We do not need teen love drama in Rebels.

I wonder if Sabine totally broke down when she told Hera and Kanan about her past? Or would you like to see her flip out at them and tell them 'They don't know what they are getting into'.

 

Frankly, I would rather have Sabine and Ezra have brother sister relationship. Ezra can find someone else to fall for.

What the heck makes you think she hates him? She obviously does not hate him. She just doesn't want to bang him.

It's not a binary choice between attraction and hate, and that's a rather unfortunate implication if you think it is.

 

Its interesting that there is no hostility between Sabine and Kanan. The Jedi and Mandos have long history of war and distrust of each other. Perhaps it is because Kanan is not a full fledged Jedi.

 

Also it's because Mandalorians are actual goddamn people who can develop their own fricking opinions.

 

I was surprised too. But I guess it depends on how long Sabine has been with them. I'd imagine she would be a little distrusting at first. But Sabine's been through some things as well. Maybe she understands what it's like to...lose yourself and your way of life.

 

Kablob: Eh, Jedi have their own opinions: See Revan and see how the Jedi Order has fragmented into other Force User orders like the Grey/Gray Jedi. Technically, the Sith are Jedi who have a completely different view point of the Force (See The Great Schism).

My point is that everyone has their own opinions, and it annoys the hell out of me when people say stuff like "(Character) can't do (thing) because they're a Mando".

 

Yah! Mando's are actual [fictional] people with goddamn actual [fictional] rights!

Mandos are actually capable of anything, the Jedi know this and in fact one Mando (Bardan Jusik) became a Jedi (something that still gives me goosebumps). I would love to see Sabine wield Kanan's lightsaber, if even for a moment like Han Solo did in ESB.

 

Anyway...back to Sabine.

What would you all like to see in general of her coming to terms with trusting other people? A particular scene perhaps?

 

Well I'm getting the feeling that Fulcrum isn't entirely trustworthy and dependable. If that's the case the relationship between Hera and Sabine could go south quick.

 

Sabine gets on top of the Ghost and the crew hold out their hands to catch her. She then steps back and falls into their hands. Lets hope Chopper is not going to cause trouble.
