Maul isnt captured nor is he owned, read SOD. Lawless/TCW set up the SOD storyline that pivots Maul away from the past and towards a future with an all out crusader war against Sidious and his forces whether CIS or Republic, and that also includes Death Watch who are in it for the long term and Maul refers to them as brothers. Dooku and the Sith betrayed Death Watch during Viszla's tenure as leader and Death Watch are enemies of the Republic and the Jedi. Likely to Death Watch or whatever remnants of it, the Empire is the same as the Republic, just different name - it even has same leader and Maul knows Palpatine is Sidious.

I was just going by what I saw in TCW (where Maul was indeed captured and completely owned by Sidious. I don't read comics as I don't enjoy the medium. However I stand corrected as to the fate of Maul thus far. Still I believe I'm correct when I say we still don't know his final fate or how it ties into Rebels, the Mandalorians or Sabine and it will be interesting to see how that all ties together.

 

Well It's almost time for the long awaited episode.

We now know Sabine was a bounty hunter and that she was left for dead by Ketsu.

I have a feeling that Sabine is about to get a lot more interesting.

 

I'm getting a Wild West feeling from Blood Sisters.

Sabine's the good, Ketsu's the bad and...well, Ezra the ugly?

Looking forward to the upcoming episode. It's good to get some more story insight into Sabine and her life.

 

The music doesn't help with the whole The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly comparisons. Given how much SW likes to borrow from/homage older films, genres, filmmakers, etc, I wouldn't be at all surprised if that's what Filoni and co are going for here.

 

Loved Sabine's line about getting between a Mandolorian and something in the Rebels episode.

Since they said she will have the same level of importance as Ezra, what do you think they'll do with her? I think something will happen when she see Ketsu and in the end, that will lead her to leave the Ghost crew.

Or perhaps leader of her own cell of Mandalorian rebels.

 

But what kind of ruler? I don't see her being a complete pacifist like Satine in other hand, I don't remember seeing stormtrooper actually die from her bombs.

 

Sabine only sees the 'fist' in pacifist.

Actually quite a few stormies get it from her, maybe not bombs but she shoots them regularly. For a while that gif of her shooting one in the face point blank was making the rounds on the board.

 

..or she may simply end up leaving the Ghost crew and likely end up siding with Mauldalorians.

 

Yep. She shot them point blank with a pistol and they flew back.

 

I can't see someone like Sabine ruling Mandalore.

 

I mean you never know in starwars.

 

Of course we could be looking at this the wrong way. Maybe it was just a way of saying that Ezra is of no great importance at all.

I mean the Mandalorians do love art.

 

I like that sabine is a bit of a badass because she is mandalorian. But the reputation of these guys being a planet full of badass warriors and bounty hunters would be somewhat discredited if becomes their ruler. The Ghost is already getting pretty OP, it kind of takes away from the whole 'rag tag group of heroes' feel that the show had at the start. I also feel like as every character develops, they dumb down zeb to compensate.
