Full Series Sabine

I could see her taking out a bunch of Stormtroopers, Empire-serving Mandos with it. But yeah, she shouldn't be able to beat people like Maul, or Kanan, or even Ezra with it. It's just not her forte, and that's fine. Trigger-happy, explosive-loving Sabine is awesome.

 

Then again they can make her a late Force bloomer!

 

Sabine strikes me as someone who prefers firepower, which makes sense given she's the weapons expert of the crew.

I could see her using the darksaber as a tool more often than as a sword, cutting entrances and such.

No, pls. I've seen too many cringey fan fictions where Sabine all of the sudden is Force-sensitive.

 

Still I don't want her to just never use it.

 

I mean Vizla and Cad bane were pretty good with the sabers, so i can't see why Sabine can't be.

Cad Bane and Vizsla were good by regular standards, but against a trained Force-sensitive they never did well. I remember Obi-wan disarming Cad's lightsaber in less than three seconds and Vizsla had to throw everything but the kitchen sink to stand up to Maul. Grievous was a cyborg with many enhancement and limbs, so of course he did better...but even he got his metal butt kicked several times.

So I could see Sabine getting good with a saber, but she won't ever be able to stand up to a Jed or Sith at that sort of combat. I always saw a Mandalorian's biggest strength being their large amount of tools and firepower, they are like walking armouries.

Not to say that Mandalorians can never beat Sith and Jedi, they definitely can. I just don't think they can do it Mano-a-Mano with a lightsaber as they are not superhuman like force-sensitives are.

 

Don't sell the group you look upto short MandoArtist!

 

I'm just being realistic! I'm still waving the Mando flag all day, every day.

 

I mean now there bringing in Battle droids and Dark troopers we can see the crew really start to chop things up, also i suppose they can now "show" Stormtroopers getting hit by the sabers but not the actual damage.

So plenty of opportunity for Sabine to show some of her saber moves.

That's what makes it so exciting -- the possibility that she's very much using it as a weapon, over everything else she has. Reminds me of what Hera once told her: "Sabine, you're sounding more like a Jedi than a Mandalorian." Not to suggest she should be Force-sensitive, but I'm really intrigued about her view of having this weapon, what significance it will have for her. That shot in the trailer looks like something intense is going on (granted it's not much).

 

From the shot in the trailer I'd imagine she finds it in surprise, probably remembering stories about pre Vizsla owning it as a child and then using it to help her escape.

 

I just don't like this notion that some fans seem to have that, if you're not FS, that you cannot still be awesome and cool and interesting. I hear enough of that on the ST boards with Finn and Poe. I don't need to see it with Sabine as well.

 

Is this the place where all the Sabine fans hang out? The obsessive crazy ones? (not meant offensively)

I need help, I need help with the colour, Particularly her Eyes and skin.
Costumes should have made/come across a good resource for colour so can someone help me?

 

What exactly do you need help with? Are you making a costume?

Anyhow, which version of Sabine are you going for? You can find lots of screenshots and concept art on starwars.com in the various episode guides, which would be a good start. Also, the Star Wars Rebels Wiki website also has a large collection of helpful screenshots and stuff.

Season 3!, Yes I know it was only a few days ago but I like the look and I never got round to doing her Season 2 self! Figured it is a starting point.

 

Well, Sabine's skin is rather orange.

At least in season 1 it was. It's more a lighter shade now.

 

You see my problem then. The colours are a little strange due to lighting.

 

Are you colouring with pencil?

Sketches already look good black and white.

 

Yes I've noticed they did kind of lighten her skin. Wonder if there gonna make her relatedto a "certain" Nite Owl perhaps? And isn't there an owl like creature drawn on her shoulder plate?

 

The owl creature of her shoulder is the one that flew around during the season 2 final.
