ok my 2 year old had fun with my white clothes socks and stuff in with my shirts was my s.v.r.f. shirt so devin i will need another one .but i have the one i had made and it looks good i will bring it.

 

Just an update

a rather large box of stuff arrived today from the PR peeps, so we should be good to go on the front. Not sure what's in it but I'm told it's heavy. (unless it's that time displacement equipment I had on back order from Acme)

I'll catalog it when I get home and let you know what's inside.

 

The Stuff

Ok kids, we got A LOT of stuff. So this is what I'm thinking, we can have a drawing every 30min (maybe an hour) we write down the name of the person, if they do not return within an hour to claim thier prize we draw again.

We also have boxes to collect enteries for free screenings of Zathura and Corpse Bride. Those are sent back to the PR peeps and they handle that.

We have posters for:
Wedding Crashers (again, but different)

and we have these neat little fake newpapers for The Exorsism of Emily Rose.

with all this stuff I think we could do quite a few drawings and create quite a stir for the group

they send nice little wrapped boxes for the entries for the movie passes and a little plot pages for the films so people can read about them.

one thing I do need is entry forms, where can I buy these things? I know there's got to be a place for them

*i had a thought we could sell raffle tickets and give the proceeds to the Mustard Seed the convention benefits but I'm not sure I want to take that one, nor that it's a good idea. (maybe next time)

 

update to the above

We are also being sent passes for a screening of Just Like heaven, not sure of the date or theater yet, but they told me it's in Woodland. (rest assured I'm finding out who's running since I have not been asked as of yet)

And I was informed we have more stuff on the way as well....so we've got ourselves a Bantha Butt full of movie swag to attract the locals with at Sac-con.

 

Sounds like a good idea bro! I also need a form with the info: name ... email address for those who don't want to pay to have their picture taken and just want it emailed to them.

 

DP, the freebies sounds great!

The forms you and LDV are looking for could be at OfficeMax or Staples? Some store that already has preprinted items. Maybe even a party store or that one called Diddums or something? If you like I can go tomorrow and scope out what they have?

I believe with Rogue 2's ideas, we will need a roll of raffle tickets. We can always use the left overs later at Wonder Con and other events.

 

Ok, well the raffle tickets were easy to find.

I purchased a big roll, double ticket.

The printed forms there are none.

We will need to get them printed or print at home with a templet form.

I have the time, but I'm not sure about the computer skill.

What kind of quantity are we thinking about?

We could just wing it with index cards, they are cheap and plenty.

I also saw name tag stickers. Would we need those?

Just throwing that out there.
