It DEFINITELY pays to have a girl with you at conventions. Hobby Monkey (a comic store in Rocklin Amanda and I frequent) had a booth there, and they had a Naruto headband for sale, which they usually sell for $46. I asked about the price, and they said "Tell you what. I bought this for $20. You can have it for $20 because you have hot Amanda with you." It was totally awesome.

Oh, and Jango Fett checked out my girlfriend too. It rocked.

We stopped in the anime room and saw the first episode of an anime called "Ugly & Beautiful World" which was really cool. The series started in Japan at the beginning of April, so it's brand new, and I really liked it.

Oh, whoever was dressed as Squall from Final Fantasy and was sitting next to you guys had an awesome costume.

 

That was Robert (Jedi Kovaks) sister.

 

Well, her costume was TEH AWESOME.

 

I tried to offer a girl .50 to take a pic with Deadpool instead of the Rebels...but Hawkgirl was quick to silence me.

I think at the next wonder con I'll just set up a chair with sign, take a Pic with me for .50. just to see if anyone does it.

Life is fun if you just let go of your pride sometimes.

I was just amazed for the first hour I was there sitting across from the IMP table, I swear the cutie chick with the pig tales and tattoo's was very serious. for some reason I just didn't think rolling up on her with a"How you doin" was going to impress her much.

ignoring Deadpool is more difficult then you could possibly imagine, I know I've been trying to ignore him for years.

 

I've been trying to ignore him too. He's even harder to ignore than saculio.

 

consider me sorta like Drop Dead Fred...oh sure you can lock me up in a box and ignore me...but I'll be back...and worse then ever.

Well, you guys did a nice job out there. It's a nice little con. I always like being there.

Our table did well and everything went smoothly. Our little pigtailed beauty is none other thatn the fiancee of one of our troopers and soon to be an IMperial officer.

My personal thanks to Eva for buying me a beer (oh my heart belongs to her now )
