Sac, CA SAC CON - Sunday Dec. 10

Just making a thread for this (Im bored at work). If memory serves, the Saturday the day before is our Holiday Party. That'll be a big weekend of SVRF fun!

Did we miss a meeting where a party for Dec 9th was discussed? Would appreciate a PM with any and all details please. The month of Dec is booking up for us quickly, so we'd like to get this on the calendar. It is not a party we'd want to miss.

As for SAC CON on Dec 10th......we'll be there. Might not be able to be there early, like we usually are, but will let you know.

 

We talked about it the last meeting, I'm pretty sure Zam and Dikum were there, but since I was too involved with Carlos and JediDoria pulling the "Delaware Switch" and stealing my pizza, my mind could have been elsewhere

Avalyn and Nasus are the organizers for this event.

 

Thanks, Bith_Lord. It was not placed on our calendar. Either Zam and Darth forgot, or they did not hear that part of the conversation. I will check with them when they get home.

So, Avalyn or Nasus, can we get an idea about what this will entail? I am thinking in terms of time, what we're bringing, etc. Thanks!!

 

We haven't figured out all the details for our Christmas party.
But the date is set for 12-9-06.
It will be heald at the clubhouse where I live.
Either Nasus or myself will put up a thread when it's all ironed out.
But the date and place is for sure set!

Hey Bith, that's the pizza they gave us...and it was tastier than what we ordered, anyway...

I missed the date, too, and I was taking notes! I've got it on the calendar now though -- it'll be a blast!

 

Zam says that she feels better about not being the only one there who missed the date. I have noticed that since we are such a big group now, there are often 3 or 4 topics of conversation going on at the same time. No wonder people miss things.

It's okay, I was only told of it by word of mouth the last time I saw Tina.

Oh, no. Nothing to feel bad about Aunt Beru, because I was there and I missed the info about the party too. Maybe we'll touch up on it some more this weekend. I'm marking the Christmas party on my calendar right now myself.

Could we maybe have a count of who's going to the Sac Con for sure? If we can get 5 or more of us to go, we can get a group discount. I'm not sure how long in advance we have to do this by; but if not enough people are sure about whether they are going to go or not, then those of us who are going can also individually email for a $1 discount. The individual attendee $1 discount, however, does have to be emailed for by Dec. 8th I believe. (You can check out the Website for more details.)

You can expect the Dikums in the afternoon....say about 1:00.

 

Unfortunately, I think this might be one I actually can't make. It could change, but you should consider me a "not going" for now.

When I asked about a discount at the last Sac Con, one of the attendents up front told me that we had to have a special wrist band. I believe they said that we are supposed to talk to our group leader (in our case, LDV) about providing us with one. I'm not sure. Do you have any idea, TJ or anyone, where we can get a free pass/wristband into the con?
