Sad news about Rebel Mom - Link to obituary/online memorial posted 7/30

This news makes me sadder than I can even say. It sounds like she went peacefully and without pain, and that is of small comfort. I'm so sorry.

Thank you for everything, Cheryl. The boards are a lesser place without your presence. <3

 

Cheryl was so gracious. We will all miss her terribly.

I have been away from the boards somewhat and didn't expect to come back to such horrible news. I am so sad. I loved RM for all of her excellent stories, but also for how wonderful and sweet she was in reviews and in PMs. I am thinking of her family and will miss this wonderful woman.

Though it's been quite a while since I posted around here, I remember Cheryl as a kind and generous soul, who was also a fantastic writer.

It has been a very, very long time since I last posted here, but I wanted to convey my sincere condolences to Cheryl's family and close friends.

Cheryl was one of the first people I met when I stumbled into the fanfic threads many years ago and she acted as something of a den mother to a small group of us that all met around the same time. I have very fond memories of talking with her, swapping beta work and tossing story ideas around. She was a good friend, had a huge heart, was a talented author and was just an absolutely lovely person. She will be missed and remembered fondly.

 

I haven't been here in years, but I had to come share the sorrow with all of you. I remember Cheryl very fondly from my days here. She was always such a sweet person, and definitely a mother-figure to all of us. The clique days were wonderful memories.

RIP, Cheryl.
