And with the stories of sunburn still coming through, I figured that a tribute to sunburn was fitting ... again

Due to the wind, I thought he'd be more covered in sand this year ... either that or he was in a covert fielding position

The only burn I got was on the arm from the drive there, before the sunscreen was applied

LOL DV, that ball was the VERY first ball of the day, I remember because thats why JTN took a picture of it "First ball of '07"

I didnt use sunscreen at all, and the only part of me that actually got burnt was my face, and even that isnt too bad. Much better outcome than last year... *winces from the memory*

 

haha we had sun yesterday in Albany as well.

it got up to 60 degrees farenheit.

ok may be it was 16 degrees celsius but it was still shorts season.


we havent had any snow yet.

ok a half an inch a month ago. and no cold either.

Greta work on the Adobe there Toddi....the wind was BAD !!! Still can't believe how burnt I got. It was the worst sunburn I've had in 20 years..seriously ! It's been hard to sleep. I really thought my shoulders & neck were protected. Guess not

Addie, that sucks, they should know better than selling tat's & telling you you can't put sunscreen on it...what do they think is going to happen ?

 

i reckon everyone who went was pretty badly burnt or burnt either way we all went home red lol

 

I dont know how escaped with such minor sunburn, I think I was probably the only person who didnt use sunscreen (except maybe SBF, but apparently he got toasted)

So I was lucky this time around, but lasts years was a bit nasty.

I reckon all the talk about last years' sunburn subconsciously affected you guys, hence the need for a group effort in all getting burnt.

Just joking. Still, don't get it, I expected one or two people (always happens), but I'm surprised nearly everyone did.

 

well the good thing is i didnt burn my legs at all

 

i got a minor burn. The only thing that actually hurts right now is the cut i got between my toes from my thongs and the sand.

 

I was wearing the same kinda gear all time last year and I got burned to a crisp, so that wasnt the reason... Eh
